The Brunswick Monument is a 21 m high neo-Gothic-style catacomb worked in
1879 to recognize Charles II, Duke of Brunswick. The duke was ousted from his
duchy in 1830 and fled into outcast to different European urban communities
including Paris, where he made a fortune and afterward moved to Geneva.
