November, a slew of seasonal markets selling artisanal gifts, gourmet
treats and myriad stocking fillers also crop up throughout the city. In case
you’re passing through Hong Kong at the end of the year, here’s a round-
up of the city’s Winter and Christmas Markets.

1. AWA Charity Bazaar

The American Women’s Association (AWA) will host its 32nd Annual
Charity Bazaar with more than 80 vendors selling a range of items
from jewellery to Christmas decor. Don’t forget the silent auction and
lucky draw.

2. Stanley Plaza Finnish Christmas Wonders
Shop for stocking thrillers and colourful decorations from 100+ stalls
selling gifts, crafts, food and drinks, while kids are kept distracted by
light shows, traditional Finnish music and dance performances, and,
a chance to meet the real Santa Claus, natch.

3. Discovery Bay Sunday Market
Hop on a ferry and head to the Discovery Bay Sunday Market. Well
known for its arts and crafts stalls, you’re sure to find something for
yourself and whoever you’re gifting this year. When the post-
shopping hunger hits, enjoy dinner at one of the designated restos at
the D’Deck and you’ll be treated to a free ferry ride back to the island.
