MAY 2024 | ISSUE 02 100 2024 ROOKIE DRAFT RECAP AND GRADES After not making a single pick in the 2023 draft, the Allen Carsons Project made five this time around in part to trading 1.11 for 2.07, 2.09, and 3.03 in the weeks leading up to the draft. The Project was also an active trader during the draft. OVERALL GRADE The trade up for Coleman was a solid move, getting Bo Nix at 2.11 was straight up robbery, and picking up the 3.09 for a three spot drop was a savvy move. Grade: B+ DRAFT TRADES (2) The Project made two deals on draft night. The first was to trade up to 2.03 to nab Coleman. For that, they paid the 2.09, 3.11, and a 2025 4th. A hefty price, but there was no way Coleman would make it back and if he can become Josh Allen’s WR1, well that’s a risk worthy taking. Grade: B The second deal was trading back from 2.07 to 2.10, which netted the 3.09. Getting a third to move back three spots is very nice value. Grade: A 2.10 - MARSHAWN LLOYD, RB, USC The Project missed out on Kyren Williams handcuff Blake Corum when the Buck drafted him at 2.04, but they were able to snag Josh Jacobs’s backup at 2.10. The Packers have been talking Lloyd up and he seems to be the favorite for the RB2 job. Grade: B 2.03 Pick Player Team Pos 2024 Rookie Draft Picks 2.10 Keon Coleman Marshawn Lloyd BUF GB WR8 RB5 2.11 Bo Nix DEN QB6 3.09 Jalen McMillan TB WR16 4.11 Devontez Walker BAL WR21 2.03 - KEON COLEMAN, WR, FLORIDA STATE Coleman is an enigma. A contested catch specialist, he’s been knocked for being slow and not getting separation. But the Bills seemed to like him, giving him good draft capital. He’ll get every chance to live up to it. Grade: C+ 2.11 - BO NIX, QB, OREGON After the Marshawn Lloyd selection the Project wasted no time grabbing the plummeting Bo Nix. I mean you have the 12th overall pick, who just had 45 TDs to 3 ints and almost an 80% completion percentage, going to a Sean Payton offense. Getting Nix at 2.11 is criminal. Grade: A+ 3.09 - JALEN MCMILLAN, WR, WASHINGTON McMillan played in the shadow of Rome Odunze at Washington, but he’s shown flashes of his own in the past and could be the future in Tampa. Grade: C+ 4.11 - DEVONTEZ WALKER, WR, NORTH CAROLINA Another late round dart throw, Walker got dominated at the Senior Bowl but does land on an intriguing depth chart. Grade: B

1.08 Pick 2.06 2.07 2.09 4.09 2.09 After swinging one the ballsiest trades in BTBLE history on draft night, the Team now sports a pretty solid QB room: Trevor Lawrence as the 2024 starter, Caleb Williams as the likely 2025 Superflex, and Russell Wilson and Bryce Young as depth pieces. MAY 2024 | ISSUE 02 104 Projected Starters Player '23 Finish Acquired QB RB RB WR WR TE Flex Flex Flex Trevor Lawrence Jahmyr Gibbs Jonathan Taylor CeeDee Lamb Michael Pittman George Kittle Joe Mixon Jaylen Waddle David Montgomery QB12 RB10 RB33 WR1 WR15 TE5 RB5 WR34 RB13 Trade - ‘23 Trade - ‘23 Trade - '23 Trade - '22 Trade - '23 Trade - '23 Trade - '23 Trade - '21 Trade - '23 SUMMARY After shockingly missing the playoffs in 2022 after a #1 seed-worthy season in 2021, the Team started 2023 off slow (2-10) despite the offseason addition of Jonathan Taylor and it looked to be another disappointing year for a star-studded roster. Squad manager Jason kept the faith though, resisting the urge to blow it up. The results speak for themselves: after the 2-10 start, the Team did not lose a single game for the rest of 2023, culminating in their second championship. Given the skill, depth, and youth of this roster, the league’s next great dynasty may have been born in 2023. QB: A RB: A+ Everyone loves to shit on Najee Harris, but the man did finish as RB20 last year and now gets an upgraded offensive line and (hard as it is to say) an upgrade at OC. So the fact that it will be hard for the Team to get Harris into the starting lineup most weeks says a lot. Jahmyr Gibbs and Jonathan Taylor are an elite 1-2 punch, and Joe Mixon and David Montgomery are no slouches either. Notable Bench Players QB Russell Wilson QB14 Waivers - '22 Player '23 Finish Acquired RB Najee Harris RB20 Trade - ‘23 QB Caleb Williams - Rookie 1.02 WR Marquise Brown WR52 Trade - '23 TE Pat Freiermuth TE29 Trade - '23 2023 FINISH: 18-10 (5TH) PF: 1,548.1 (4TH) PA: 1,366.68 (8TH)

Longtime stalwart Mark Andrews is gone after a 2023 trade, but this room is still solid. George Kittle leads the way, with Pat Freiermuth, Isaiah Likely, Michael Mayer, Ja’Tavion Sanders, and Chig Okonkwo behind him. This is definitely too many tight ends to be carrying in a non-TEP league. Even after dealing away both Brandon Aiyuk and Josh Downs, this WR room is still among the league’s best, led of course by CeeDee Lamb. After several solid seasons, Lamb exploded in 2023 for 135/1,749/12 to finish as the overall WR1 and lead the Team to glory. Behind Lamb are Jaylen Waddle, Michael Pittman, and Hollywood Brown plus young depth pieces like Dontayvion Wicks, Roman Wilson, and the mercurial Elijah Moore. MAY 2024 | ISSUE 02 105 WR: A TE: AWith Brandon Aiyuk gone, Waddle will be looked upon to return to his 2022 form after an injury-marred 2023 campaign. If he can do so, it will cover off the sting of losing Aiyuk and go a long way towards the Team becoming the second repeat champion in league history. X-FACTOR: JAYLEN WADDLE This might seem like an odd choice, but the fact is Lawrence has never quite lived up to the “generational” hype, finishing as the QB8 and QB13 in his two non-Urban Meyer years. There is a clip floating around the internet of all the near-miss Lawrence TD passes in 2023 and it it’s two minutes long. It remains to be seen if switching out Calvin Ridley for Gabe Davis and Brian Thomas is the remedy there, but simple variance would suggest Lawrence could be in line for a big 2024. POTENTIAL BREAKOUT: TREVOR LAWRENCE 2024 ROSTER VALUE

MAY 2024 | ISSUE 02 108 The Fantasy Football Team was lively last year during the draft with three trades and this year they outdid themselves. Of the record 10 trades this draft, the Team was involved in a whopping five of them, including a blockbuster. 2024 ROOKIE DRAFT RECAP AND GRADES OVERALL GRADE This was a very eventful and exciting draft for one that just ended up taking home four rookies. The Caleb Williams deal will of course define not only this draft but potentially the Team’s fortunes in BTBLE for years to come. The Sanders pick was a waste, but the added value from trade downs cancels that out. Grade: B1.02 Pick Player Team Pos 2024 Rookie Draft Picks 3.06 4.04 4.10 Caleb Williams Roman Wilson Malik Washington Ja’Tavion Sanders CHI PIT MIA CAR QB1 WR13 WR20 TE4 DRAFT TRADES (5) The Team traded up from 1.12 to 1.10 to select JJ McCarthy (who was promptly traded), sending useful RB Chase Brown to the Kissers. Grade: C+ Next up was the trade highlight of the night: the Team sent 1.10 (McCarthy), Brandon Aiyuk, Josh Downs, the 4.08, and a 2025 2nd rounder to IMT for the rights to Caleb Williams (1.02). This will only work out of Caleb hits in a big way, but to hit a home run you have to swing for the fences and the Team had the depth to spare. Grade: BThe Team sat out the second round but got back in the saddle in the third. First they traded down from 3.02 to 3.04 and picked up a 2025 4th. Grade: A Next they traded down again from 3.04 to 3.06 and got 4.04 for their troubles. Grade: A Lastly, the Team traded back into the fourth, getting the 4.10 from the HITS in exchange for the 2025 4th they obtained earlier. Grade: C 1.02 - CALEB WILLIAMS, QB, USC The Team didn’t actually make this pick but traded for it after it had already been made. This grade is evaluating the player, not the trade, and getting Caleb at 1.02 is a slam dunk. Grade: A+ 4.04 - MALIK WASHINGTON, WR, VIRGINIA Washington was many analysts’ sleeper WR after racking up prodigious production his senior year at Virgina (110/1,426/9). It’s somewhat surprising he was allowed to join Miami’s track meet offense given his downright pedestrian 4.47 40 time. Grade: C 3.06 - ROMAN WILSON, WR, MICHIGAN The Steelers have been the best WR-drafting team in the league for a decade, so anytime they draft a WR (especially in light of trading Diontae Johnson) it’s noteworthy. Wilson had low production in Michigan’s prehistoric offense but dominated at the Senior Bowl. Grade: A 4.10 - JA’TAVION SANDERS, TE, FLORIDA STATE This is gonna be a no from me dawg. Trading up for a tight end in non-TEP, even a good prospect with decent draft capital and even in the fourth round, when you already roster the TEs the Team does isn’t good process. Sanders would have to hit in a monstrous way to differentiate himself from the Team’s other TEs, and will probably have to occupy a taxi or roster spot for years before that happens, if ever. Grade: F
