Adding/dropping a class
Students who wish to drop prior to the first day of class may be eligible
for a full refund. Drops after the first day of class will receive partial, or

no refund. Some drops may result in a “W” grade on your college
transcript. When you drop a class on or before "W Date" a "W" will be

applied to the transcript.

Releasing a hold on an account
Holds on a students’ account aren’t released until the task has been
completed and the holds & tasks refresh every Tuesday. A business

hold must be dealt with funds, and you will have to contact the
business office. Depending on the hold on the students account, they

must make an appointment and meet with an advisor in the CASA
building.

International Student Information
The Lone Star College About page gives facts about the school,
addresses for the various Lone Star locations, and news and events.
International Student tuition prices can be found on the Tuition and
Fees page, where tuition for other various students can be found.
Tuition for International students is going to be much higher than that
of a student in the district area. Student Fee prices and a list of what is

being paid for can be found on this page as well.

Students. This page gives information about and F-1 program for
Internation students. F-1 admissions and advising can be found on this

The F-1 Admissions page gives international students a link to complete
an online application. This page also gives a few links for new

applicants, transfer applicants, applicants in the U.S. requesting an
“Initial Form I-20", applicants in the U.S. wanting to change their status
to F-1, and F-1 students with I-20 form from another institution wanting

to pursue concurrent enrollment.

International Student Orientation information can be found on the
International Student Orientation page. This page gives information on

what will be covered during an international student's time at an
orientation. This page also gives times and locations for international

student orientations.

A student needs to order transcript

Students who graduated and need their official transcript can contact
the high school they graduated and can request the location of their
choice. Transcripts will be processed and mailed within 2 business days

either electronically or through US mail
