Headquartered in Melbourne, Australia we develop, finance, market and distribute unscripted series to more than 150 markets internationally. With sales offices in London and Beijing we offer producers a bespoke, personal approach to rights optimization.
Launched in 2004 LGI’s fresh, dynamic approach to content acquisition working with talented Pro- ducers at an early stage has allowed us to partner with leading broadcasters worldwide including Na- tional Geographic, BBC, Discovery Channels, NHK, ARTE, Netflix and Blue Ant Media to name a few.
We pride ourselves on long-term partnerships and have exclusive distribution agreements with Irish Pubcaster RTE and German based Autentic Distri- bution. In the Chinese city of Hangzhou is a shantytown called 24th Street. Its residents are migrant laborers work- ing on construction sites. Among them is a middle-aged man named Su. He was born into a distinguished rural family but ran away from his village in order to escape an arranged marriage. For more than 30 years, he leads the life of a drifter, moving from one temporary job to another. Now, Su is feeling his age and be- coming homesick. And with his parents dead, he worries about the family plot they’ve left behind. But if he retires from migrant work, where will he live and how will he earn a living? In search of a final home, Su sets out on a final journey-to the village he left decades ago.

Living under the protection of a non-governmental organization that supports refugees, she formed a rap group with friends and began using her songs to proclaim her desire to live the way she wants. Then, success in a music contest thrust her into the spotlight.

They don’t want to let go of their homeland even when its being consumed by flames.
