VISITATION 4PM - 8PM

As I sit in Heaven
As I sit in heaven
and watch you everyday,
I try to let you know
with signs I never
went away. I hear you when you’re
laughing, and watch you as you sleep, I even place my arms around
you, to calm you while you weep. I see you wish the days away, begging to have
me home. So I try to send you signs, so you know you are not alone.

Don’t feel guilty
that you have

life that was denied
to me. Heaven is
truly beautiful, just
you wait and see!
So live your life,
laugh again, enjoy
yourself, be free.
Then I know with
every breath you

take, you’ll be
taking one for me.

VISITOR HOME

05 17 1970 12 27 2021

It was on May 17, 1970 in Chicago, Illinois that God added tree branches to the family of
Rebekah Gore and Sam Chatman.

There were two tree branches named Keith and Kevin Gore.
The two of them brought so much joy to the family.

Keith confessed a hope in Christ at an early age and joined the
Apostolic Church of Morgan Park under the pastoral care of Bishop Robert Baggett Sr.

Later in life, he attended Labor of Love Apostolic Church
under the direction of Pastor Anthony Williams.

Keith attended Morgan Park High School where he practiced carpentry
and became a very handy apprentice. Later in life, he pursued a 19-year career at
Chicago Transit Authority where he laughed and talked to the public every day.

He truly loved his job.

Keith was a man who infused fun into the most mundane tasks.
He was a kind and thoughtful person.

He will be missed, and we will always hold onto the amazing memories we shared together.

On December 27, 2021, Keith was called home. This was a tragic loss to all who knew him.
Keith was greeted to his heavenly home by his Grandparents, Daniel and Roxanna Gore
and his Stepfather, Floyd Sumrall.

Keith leaves to cherish his memory:
Parents: Rebekah Sumrall and Sam Chatman
Children: D’Vareon, D’Vonte, D’Varius and Aviana Gore
Siblings: Kevin Gore, Roxane Gore, Raquana Sumrall, Kentell Sumrall, Cynthia Stewart
Rita Chatman-Gbadehan, Donna Fuller, Marlon Chatman, Kyra Chatman, Samantha Chatman

and Kentell Sumrall.
Grandchildren: Rhylee Ahmaya, Kobe D’vari Ahmad, Marlee, Mila and Micah Gore

and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

I Miss
You Always

My heart has been left broken
Since the day you had to go
And the memories I treasure dearly
Are in the tears that still flow

You're in my thoughts everyday
And that's how it will always be
For you may be up in Heaven now But

you’ll always be with me

If only I could have the chance
To see your face once more

Or to hear your voice one final time Just
like it was before

The day that Heaven calls for me
Will be a relief from all this pain

I'll run to you with open arms
And we will meet again

Love,
Your Mom Rebekah

There are so many But there are still photos
questions that I need to remember you by.

answers to. Each time I look at them,
But now that you're gone. I still want to cry.
there's no way to ask you.
They say grief Is easier to
bear as time goes by,

but the doesn't stop me
from wondering why.

Why was my dear, sweet
Dad taken so soon?

When he was my guiding star,
my sun and my moon.

There are no answers to a
question like this.

So, I'll cherish your memory,
And mourn the years we'll miss.

Pops wassup my boy!!
Man, I don't know where to start.
You taught me so much in this world.
A lot of people didn’t understand our
relationship. We would debate and go
back and forth, but at the end of the day,

it was all love.
I just wish I can come over and watch
one more Bears game with you and
enjoy our personal beverage. ..
This Isn’t the last time we will see each
other, but I swear my Dawg I love you for
life. Watch over me, Avi, D and Te…

Love you Dawg,

Snoochi

I don’t think this will ever feel real. All I can hear is your loud
laugh in the background and your voice saying “hey boo”
anytime I’d talk to you. I wish your grandson was able to meet
you and to see that sweet face of yours, but I promise I’ll make
sure he knows who you are. I called you when I found out his
gender and all I remember you saying is “y’all making me
proud”. I’m grateful to have so many memories of you that I
could share for hours and days. I never thought it would be this
soon that I’d have to say goodbye, but you’ll never be forgotten
and will forever be missed. We love you so much! ❤️

In 1979, I met this handsome little boy with the cutest dimples I had ever seen.
We always saw each other at church, but he was too shy to talk to me at first. But
once we began to talk, he became one of my first male friends. We would walk to
the candy store with our church friends after Sunday School, and he would crack

corny jokes to make us all laugh.

As we became adults, I never would have guessed that my little friend would
become my husband. He began to help me raise my son and then nurture his first
daughter that we shared. We traveled on vacations with our blended family and

shared so many special times together. When he would grab his Chicago Bears
apron and chef hat, we knew we were about to enjoy some delicious food.
We enjoyed cooking together as we fed so many people.

Gore, I could never imagine typing a tribute for your homegoing service and I am
still in disbelief. The 20 years we shared as a couple were a very intricate part of
my life. I promise to tell your grandchildren about you and keep your daughter

strong during this tough journey. You will be missed by so many people. You
definitely left your footprints in the sand and we will never forget you.

Rest in peace, Keith Gore…
