Order of Adjective

คือการเรียงลำดับของคำคุณศัพท์ให้ถูก
ต้องนั่นเอง แต่ก่อนการเรียงลำดับเราไป
ทำความเข้าใจ กับ Adjective กันก่อน

ครับ

Adjectives หรือ คำคุณศัพท์หมาย
ถึง คำที่ไปทำหน้าที่ขยายนามหรือ
สรรพนาม เพื่อบอกให้รู้ ลักษณะ

คุณภาพ หรือคุณสมบัติของนามหรือ
สรรพนามนั้นว่า เป็นอย่างไร

หลักการใช้ Adjective ในประโยค การวาง
ตำแหน่งของ adjective ในประโยค มีดังนี้

1. Adjective วางหน้าคำนาม เช่น
A short boy is playing. เด็กตัวเตี้ย

กำลังเล่น
The beautiful girl is in the room

.สาวสวยอยู่ในห้อง

2.Adjective ตามหลัง Verb to
be (be, is, am, are, was,
were, been) เช่น
You are tall. คุณตัวสูง

She was happy yesterday.
เมื่อวานหล่อนมีความสุข

ตัวอย่าง Order of adjective

Determiners: a ,an, the, that, this, my, his, your, first, second, third, one,
two
Opinion : beautiful, ugly, bad, good, delicious, funny, boring, great,
smart
Size : big, small, tall, short, little, huge, tiny
Shape: round, square, triangle, oval
Age : young, old, new
Colour : white, black, green, red, pink, yellow
Origin : Thai, English, Chinese, American, Japanese
Material : metal, wooden, gold, stone, silver, diamond, cotton, wool, silk
Purpose : cleaning,walking, running, sleeping, whitening

ตัวอย่างประโยค ตัวอย่างเช่น

My sister adopted 2 cute small white puppies.
(น้องสาวของฉันรับเลี้ยงลูกสุนัขสีขาวตัวเล็กน่ารัก 2ตัว)
That is an ugly big square wooden chair.
(นั่นคือเก้าอี้ไม้ทรงสี่เหลี่ยมขนาดใหญ่ที่น่าเกลียด)
Jane is wearing a beautiful new green silk
dress. (เจนสวมผ้าไหมชุดใหม่สีเขียวสวยงาม)
I have a lovely old ceramic coffee mug.
(ผมมีแก้วกาแฟเซรามิคเก่าๆที่น่ารัก)
