South Jersey Veteran Feels Like a New Man
with Hip Replacement

Voorhees resident Al Bancroft had
always been an active, on-the-go
kind of guy. A 35-plus year veteran of
the U.S. Marine Corps, this retired Lt.
Colonel had also been a star athlete
in his youth – even coming in first in
the high jump by jumping over his
height (5’7”), a feat that helped earn his
induction into the Collingswood High
School Athletic Hall of Fame.

His years of playing sports and being
on his feet, however, started taking
their toll as he entered his 70s. Bancroft
had his left hip replaced in 2015, so
when his right hip started aching a
couple of years later, it didn’t take him
long to realize there was a problem
that needed fixing.

Ingredients Directions:
* 1 16-ounce box organic pumpkin puree Preheat oven to 350°F.
* 1 cup unsweetened applesauce Combine pumpkin puree, applesauce, eggs, pumpkin pie spice,
* 2 eggs vanilla extract, coconut milk, and maple syrup into the bowl of a food
* 1 teaspoon organic pumpkin pie spice processor. Pulse several times until combined, stopping to scrape
