Contract Brochure

Overview: In this project you will create a brochure in Word that explains contracts in language that a teenager
with no background in Business Law would understand. This project is worth a test grade.

Please Note: Although you may work with a partner on this project, your partner’s absence is no excuse for late
or incomplete work!

Grading:
This project will count as a test grade. The project requires you to create a teen-friendly brochure in which you
explain contract law in language that a teenager with no background in Business Law can understand.

Requirements:
1. Students should begin the brochure with an introductory statement that introduces the teenager to their topic.

The introduction should also provide the purpose of the brochure and what it will cover.
2. The brochure must be a 3 panel tri-fold, and include information on the front and back. You must cover all
required information for your topic!
3. The brochure may be created in Microsoft Word.
4. The brochure must contain colors other than black and white. Use attractive, easy to read color schemes.
5. Use examples throughout the brochure to help make the concepts easier to understand.
6. Use relevant pictures and graphics to make the brochure more attractive and interesting.
7. Use correct grammar and spelling at all times!! Points will be deducted for spelling errors.
8. Organize the brochure so that the brochure reads logically from one topic to next. Avoid choppiness!!
9. You are required to work on this project (and only on this project) with your partner or individually during
class. Points will be deducted if you are off-task at any time during the course of this project. If you finish before
other students in the class, use your time to add more info and examples to your project! You may use sources
other than the textbook.
10. Include all sources on the back middle cover of your brochure.
11. When you print out the brochure, it will be in black and white.
