A Conversation with Sunshine is a series of conceptual photographs, in which the combination of places’ photographs was taken and produced by the technique of CMY, to portray the idea of how humans see light. As humans perceive colours from the reflection between light and object. Therefore this photograph series illustrated my new impressions of familiar places, in comparison to how different colours were perceived through the reflection of light at different times.
Though CMYK is considered to be a well-known colour setting, in this project I intend to cut off the black channel (K) to be left as CMY which are the colours that can be seen by the reflection of light. The real way humans see light and colours has been shown by this technique.
