Our congregation fully supports the Christ -centered education of children and adults within our church and
community. We provide for the Christ-centered education of these age groups in the following ways...

INFANTS/TODDLERS (birth - 2.5 years old)

 Nothing at this time. Plans are in process to add day care to our program.

PRESCHOOL (2.5 years old - 5 years old)

 Preschool
o Providing a three-year-old and four-year-old program

 Music ministry
o Preschool Choir and music appreciation opportunities
o Preschoolers participate in the Children’s Christmas Program

 Sunday School Program – starting with the 3 year-olds
 Vacation Bible School (VBS) – starting at age three
 Children's Message

o Worship message designed to reach the children of the congregation during service

ELEMENTARY (kindergarten – 5th grade)

o Organized Christian fellowship group activities
o YBC - "Young Believers in Christ" Senior High Leadership Team. Completes church and
school service projects.
o Attend at National Youth Gathering
o Plans and executes Christmas Eve Candle Light service

 VLHS Association member
o Student assistance fund for students attending Valley Lutheran High School

HIGH SCHOOL (9th grade – 12th grade)

 “Young Believers in Christ” Senior High Youth programs
o Organized Christian group activities including fellowship, service events both within the
congregation and in the community.
o Attend National Youth Gatherings.

 Valley Lutheran Student Assistance
o Providing financial assistance scholarships to congregational students attending Valley
Lutheran High School

o Christmas Eve Worship service developed and led by young adults of the congregation under
the direction of the Director of Family Life Ministry

COLLEGE/YOUNG ADULTS

 Special Plate Offering
o Providing congregational students attending Concordia University in the full-time ministry

o Collected once a year to be distributed among these students
