Splashtastic ISSUE 55- JULY/AUGUST 2018 21

JOIN a ‘splashtastic’ world of dinosaurs, laser swords, pirates,

mermaids and cute fish as Bramley Baths go to the movies in style this
summer.

The baths will transform every Wednesday and Saturday into the
world of your favourite blockbuster movies.

Prepare to swim to famous soundtracks, accompanied by themed
inflatables. Our Star Wars swim with inflatable lightsabers will transport
you to a galaxy far far away, or swim to Finding Nemo, with colourful
inflatable fish.

At the Jurassic Park swim battle some of the most epic (inflatable)
dinosaurs to dominate the Earth! And ‘Pirates of the Bramley-bean’
underwater treasure hunt captures life as Captain Jack Sparrow, diving
for sunken treasure in our pool.

If movies aren’t your thing, the week-long Junior Mermaids synchro-
swimming course is for eight to 12-year-olds who want to turn swimming
into a unique dance performance. And our popular intensive five-day
crash courses help youngsters learn to swim.
Go to www.bramleybaths.com for details!

Staying safe in the

Going for an outdoor swim is one of
the most refreshing – and fun – ways
to cool off from the sun.
But the differences between swimming

aware of how you can stay safe.

staying safe in the water this summer

A great
introduction

CONFESSIONS of Sarah, mum of Robert, a Baby Swimmers parent

“It was with some trepidation that I approached my son’s first
swimming lesson.

I remember staring down at him on the change mat in his slightly
over-sized neoprene trunks, after grappling with getting these and a swim
nappy on him, and wondering how we were going to ever do this quickly
each week.

Now, five months on and halfway through our second term with Baby
Swimmers, we’re pros!

It has been a great introduction to the water for my son.
Seeing my baby going from being slightly anxious about going into the
water to laughing and happily going underwater and holding onto the side
of the pool has been an amazing experience.
