Life is not lived in black and white. Even if color
television was not introduced until 1940, life was
always lived in color. However, the essence of life has
always been difficult to capture. Writings provide
insights on the livelihoods of past societies and peoples,
but never truly seized the spirit of what it is like to live
in the now. We use books, pictures, videos, and other
forms of media to capture our lives, but these are all
just different ways to jog the most important of all, your
memory. It is important to not only live your life to the
fullest, but to remember it to the fullest, and remember

it in living color.

Live this moment.

Live the hype of a basketball game, the solemnity of a
prayer service.

Live the early mornings "charging large" at Sandy's, the
late nights spent with your best friends.

Live each year how you want to live it. High school is
entirely what you make of it.

Remember these moments.

Remember the relief you felt when you passed your Senior

Project, or when you got an ’A' on that test you studied really

hard for. ZXZ

Remember the unity of your class singing together during
Christmas Aloha, or cheering on your classmates during the

annual Spartan Challenge tournament.

Remember the people: the ups, the downs, the laughs, and
cries.

Remember how you felt.

Let this yearbook be an archive of your year: the friends you
made, the laughs you shared, and the time you spent with

people you love. Cherish high school and the memories you
have made. People will come and go, but hold on to the

memories you have made at Maryknoll forever, and remember
them in living color.
