It was the ability to pull

Excitement mounted as MHS

dressing up in obnoxious apparel,

and tying inch-long strands of

over this year's court, nominees
for king had to collect Love's

Homecoming 1978 had finally
arrived and with it came the
float and flashcard competi

spent on creating the floats
made each one outstanding and
unique. The Seniors won the
float contest with their en

"Spartans Get It Together."
A new event was the flashcard
competition in which the Soph
omores and Juniors tied for
first place. It involved stu

which combined to form a large
message displaying Spartan
Power. A furious basketball
duel against University High
topped off an exhilarating
week.
