I love the teachers, the school spirit, and the staff, and studentsare pretty nice. I am glad that I am graduating from thisamazing school that hasteacherswho
actually care about their studentsand want them to succeed.

The teachersare very involved and helpful. They spend a lot of time making sure that their studentsunderstand the material, and really focuson seeing us
succeed. North isvery giving to the community, they regularly have thingslike blanket drives, food drives, and providesmealsto kidswho might not get them
regularly. At North they are very focused on making sure studentshave a plan for after high school, and are helpful in making sure we know how to achieve our
goals.

I loved the amount of diversity and acceptance. There wasalwayssomething new going on to keep studentsinvolved, whether that be a club activity or spirit
week. I loved going backevery single year!

Asa student and baseball player, I enjoyed my time at North. Very student oriented and teachersactually care. In addition there are multiple resourcesfor
studentsfor thingslike students, or college advisors, etc. Great atmosphere, spirit, and sports! -Classof 2019

Now, North isa fantastic school for solidly mediocre or below average students. A pipeline for the perfectly underachieving, which isinfinitely better than what it
once was, but still. Sure, thisplace hasall kindsof pretty looking institutionsrunning inside of it, such asthe City Year program, JROTC, Engagement Center, and
their increased amount of counselorsand social workers. These are all lovely, but ultimately useless.. The teachersare unfair to studentswho have had a rough
history, and play it off as"tough love". The embedded honorsprogram isa cheap excuse for academic excellence, and though, it helpsstruggling kids, it is
painful and abusive to any truly gifted students. A cheap AP program, a pathetic execution of discipline — honestly, who caresif the studentsare late to class?
If a school with only 12% of their studentsbeing proficient in math and English isclaiming to grant success, they are lying.
