I loved my teachersand most of my classes, but the geography waspretty horrid. The school isincredibly boring, with beige walls, white tile floors, and flat,
square halls. No variety. It discouraged creativity, and I hated walking through the white-washed hallsdevoid of expression. The food was, asexpected, also
horrid, and lunch wasnot alwaysthe best experience ever. The learning wasgreat, along with my friends, the people, the clubs, and the activities.

There are many optionsfor extracurricular activitiesat thisschool. From dance club to running club to Reader'srally to jazz band, thisschool offersa wide range
of fun, popular, and engaging after-school activities. The administration usually hasa representative or someone present at competitions/events, so they are
involved mostly.

The classesare rigorous, the teachersdon't take crap, and their are multiple levelsof . . . intelligence to meet the capabilitiesof the students. Scheduling process
if you want to change anything isn't too bad; a parent just needsto contact an administrator and proof must be given for the reason for change, but other than
that it'sgreat. The math classesfor those on the higher level gifted path isamazing too, mostly because of Mrs. Castleberry, one of the best math teachersever.
AsI wasonly in the gifted program, that'sall I can speakfor; the gifted path in curriculum, teachers, and study optionsisone of the best in the state no doubt. :

The teachersI had were amazing, fun, and loved their job aswell asthe subject they taught. They varied their stylesto cater to the gifted mindsin my classes,
sometimesdoing activitiesfocused on visual learning, other timeshaving usdo some hands-on creative work, and on other daysteaching through generic
powerpoints. Their teaching styleswere all different yet effective.

I loved being a student at Brookwood! My favorite memoriesare from extracurricular activitiesand AP classes. Asan active member of the marching band and
literary magazine, I alwayshad a way to expressmyself and connect with people who had common interests. The teachersleading these extracurricular activities
were alwaysfun and supportive. My AP teacherswere the same, helping me reach my full potential by preparing me for college. Some studentsexpressed that
they were pressured to take AP classesthat they weren't ready for, and since Brookwood pridesitself on excellence, I can see that happening. Brookwood hasa
singular idea of excellence that doesn't allow for much individuality, such asdeciding on a post-graduate path that isuntraditional. Nevertheless, I enjoyed my
time at Brookwood High School.

Brookwood isa very diverse school with great educational opportunities. I am grateful that my parentsmoved usover to thisdistrict it a great community. The
teachersfor the most part are great and enjoy teaching. Studentsare pretty nice and welcoming. The counselorsare great and really there for the students. The
clubsand sportsoffered create great opportunitiesfor students. One downfall isthat we don't have pep rallieslike other school. The music and artsprogramsare
great! Orchestra program isamazing! Studentshave a lot of school spirit for our sportsteams. The school ishuge with a ton of studentsbut the building looksnice
and isfunctional. I loved my natural resource management aquaponicsand peer leading classeswere some of my favorite. I feel that I am prepared to leave
Brookwood to go off to college due to the vigorousAP, Honor and Gifted classes.I honestly believe that Brookwood isa great school for studentsto spend their
high school career.

Brookwood isdifferent from any other school I've heard compared to the Gwinnett district. What I love about thisschool isthe endlessopportunitiesthey offer.
They provide many clubsand academics, especially the APs. They workevery year to improve their school for the comfort of students. The school hasshown off
their recordsand not afraid to show their trophy display. Which iskind of obnoxiousbut impressive to say the least Additionally, administration can be both
professional and friendly. They do what'sbest for studentswhile befriendsthem at the same time. Brookwood isalso known for their football. The studentshere
have crazy spirit, I've never seen anything like it. The stadiumswould be packed on those Friday nights. People would skip doing their homeworkor any other
activity just to attend their games. The support isunreal here. Go Broncos!
