Being in Brookwood High School for the last 6-7 yearshasbeen a life changing experience for me. The learning experience ismuch better compared to the
schoolsI've attended previousto Brookwood. My instructorsat Brookwood have been so helpful to me and my gradesstarted to improve when I attended. Since I
joined the Brookwood Community in 5th grade I have been in the S.T.E.A.M. program that they offer and it gave me more of an advantage than my peersin
normal classesbecause I wastaught in different styleswhether it be physically learning or Visually. I wasable to understand the concept of the subjects. I am so
grateful to my peers, instructors, & coachesI've had at Brookwood because they have all taught me lessonsI would've never learned on my own. I have not only
learned material, but I have learned the conceptsof being a leader, a team player, & a kind person. I do hope to see more studentsin the future enjoy the
experiencesI have and just become a better person.

I loved being a student at Brookwood! My favorite memoriesare from extracurricular activitiesand AP classes. Asan active member of the marching band and
literary magazine, I alwayshad a way to expressmyself and connect with people who had common interests. The teachersleading these extracurricular activities
were alwaysfun and supportive. My AP teacherswere the same, helping me reach my full potential by preparing me for college. Some studentsexpressed that
they were pressured to take AP classesthat they weren't ready for, and since Brookwood pridesitself on excellence, I can see that happening. Brookwood hasa
singular idea of excellence that doesn't allow for much individuality, such asdeciding on a post-graduate path that isuntraditional. Nevertheless, I enjoyed my
time at Brookwood High School.

Brookwood isa very diverse school with great educational opportunities. I am grateful that my parentsmoved usover to thisdistrict it a great community. The
teachersfor the most part are great and enjoy teaching. Studentsare pretty nice and welcoming. The counselorsare great and really there for the students. The
clubsand sportsoffered create great opportunitiesfor students. One downfall isthat we don't have pep rallieslike other school. The music and artsprogramsare
great! Orchestra program isamazing! Studentshave a lot of school spirit for our sportsteams. The school ishuge with a ton of studentsbut the building looksnice
and isfunctional. I loved my natural resource management aquaponicsand peer leading classeswere some of my favorite. I feel that I am prepared to leave
Brookwood to go off to college due to the vigorousAP, Honor and Gifted classes.I honestly believe that Brookwood isa great school for studentsto spend their
high school career.

Brookwood isdifferent from any other school I've heard compared to the Gwinnett district. What I love about thisschool isthe endlessopportunitiesthey offer.
They provide many clubsand academics, especially the APs. They workevery year to improve their school for the comfort of students. The school hasshown off
their recordsand not afraid to show their trophy display. Which iskind of obnoxiousbut impressive to say the least Additionally, administration can be both
professional and friendly. They do what'sbest for studentswhile befriendsthem at the same time. Brookwood isalso known for their football. The studentshere
have crazy spirit, I've never seen anything like it. The stadiumswould be packed on those Friday nights. People would skip doing their homeworkor any other
activity just to attend their games. The support isunreal here. Go Broncos!

It is so important to make a great first impression once a buyer
enters the home for the first time. When a potential buyer walks into
a dirty home, they assume that the current owners did not take care
of the property.
Most buyers will want a move-in ready property that feels like new. A
long list of chores and repairs right when they move in will not be
appealing and can be daunting to a potential buyer.
If needed, we contract professional cleaners and stagers to
showcase your home in the best possible way.
Use the checklist on the following page to prepare your home for the
market.

Walk through your home, room by room as if you are a buyer and take
notes on what needs to be done

Consider having a home inspector come and see if anything needs to
be repaired

Have a yard sale and throw out anything you do not need anymore
(this will make packing up to move easier, too!)

✓ REPAIRS TO CONSIDER

Repaint and clean walls. Using light, neutral shades has been shown to be
more appealing to potential buyers. In the kitchen paint baseboards,
kitchen cabinets, trim, molding

Landscape. Add some color with flowers and shrubs. Keep the lawn
mowed and remove weeds

Upgrade lighting. Swap out old light bulbs with new brighter bulbs

Add more lamps and accent lighting to brighten up darker rooms

Replace old appliances. When buyers know they don't need to replace
appliances for years, they have a much easier time saying "yes to the
address"

Consider renewing floor finishes and replacing old carpets. Flooring is one
of the first things a potential buyer will see and can make or break it for
them. Cleaning or renewing your floors can result in a great return

Thoroughly clean the entire home, or hire a professional cleaning
company to do this

Steam clean carpets. If stained, consider replacing carpet

Repair all cracks and holes in walls

Paint all interior walls a neutral color

Remove any excess furniture

the space in closets

De-clutter: stow away any small appliances, knick knacks, personal
items, etc. Remember, less is more

Remove valuable items, like cash or jewelry, from the home
