ROYA2026AULIA SALVY PUTRI MAHARANIProject Leader of ROYA 2026Testimonial of IYF Activities 5ROYA 2026 was driven by a genuine desire to createsomething meaningful. As the Project Leader, Aulia SalvyPutri Maharani shared that her motivation stemmed fromwanting to build a space where ASEAN youth could trulylearn and grow together. For her, young people are notmerely the leaders of tomorrow, but active contributors tochange right now. Through ROYA 2026, she hopedparticipants would walk away with fresh perspectives onregional issues, new cross-border connections, and mostimportantly, a sense that they have a real role in shapingASEAN's future.Looking back on the forum, Aulia's impression wasoverwhelmingly positive. She expressed genuine gratitudethat the number of participants exceeded their initial target, with the majority staying actively engaged throughout, fromQ&A sessions in the talk shows to the FGDs and workshops. What impressed her most, however, was the depth ofthinking participants brought to the table. Despite thecomplexity of the case study questions, they articulatedtheir ideas clearly and confidently, which she found trulyremarkable. She was equally proud of the organizingcommittee, whose strong teamwork and quick coordinationkept everything running smoothly behind the scenes. Her message to participants, bothpresent and future, is don't justshow up and leave. Speak up,connect with people, and embracediffering opinions because that'swhere real collaboration begins. ForAulia, ROYA is never just about thecertificate or the title. It's aboutgaining exposure, broadening one'sview of ASEAN, and finding a safespace to grow. Her greatest hope isthat after the program ends, participants won't just look backand say \"that was fun\" — but willcarry the momentum forward, continuing to collaborate and createsmall but meaningful impacts.Because as she put it, that's wherethe real ignition happens.
