Anthony Jude Tan embarked on his entrepreneurial journey in 2013, when Royal Group of Abu Dhabi approached him to advise on initiating the planning of the Anti-Aging and Wellness clinic in Reem Island. This began the conception of AJT Consultancy, with Royal Group as his first major project. KEY MILESTONES AJT Consultancy obtained its first investor, Dr. Cecil Wong, who bought 30% of AJT consulting. During this period, Dr. Gordon of Millennium came in as a partner to contribute to AJT Consultancy’s expertise in developing medical protocols and guidelines. Project Sungai Pulai marked AJT Consultancy’s first foray into mixed used property concept development. Formed an exclusive partnership with Swan & Maclaren. AJT CONSULTANCY CO., LTD – AJT HOLDINGS PTE The company rebranded into Singapore based AJT Holdings PTE Ltd and 3 subsidiary companies: AJT Consultancy Co., Ltd (Thailand), DrMap Private limited, and Wellity Private limited. At this stage, the company’s capital value increased from 1M to 7M THB. Swan & Maclaren became a 20% shareholder. Armed with a strong Singapore-based architect firm as a partner, AJT Consultancy underwent repositioning restructuring, by setting up a Singapore entity to increase branding awareness. Macau based HN Group, a major client for the project Serensia Woods, which also became the majority shareholder of AJT Holdings. HN group’s investment made investment in Singapore Medical Center; Cambodia (SGMC) possible. 2013 2014 2015 2016/17 2018 2019 DrMap Private limited secured a JV with Oxley Worldbridge Co., Ltd in Cambodia, owning 60% in DrMap (Cambodia) Co., Ltd in managing Singapore Medical Center (SGMC), a 1,600sqm medical facility. Xin Ying group was AJT’s first Chinese partner, collaborating on Dr. Bangkok. AJT Consultancy was the first to create the market entry for Chinese medical tourism. Together, they partnered with World Medical Hospital, the project launch of which led to a substantial influx of Chinese medical tourists. Dr. Bangkok was marketed and promoted within China’s 1st and 2nd tier cities and provinces. A joint venture between Wellity Pte Ltd (50%) and Vacation Village Co., Ltd (50%) was formed as a management company to manage all hotel and resorts under Vacation Village Group to transform and enhance their current holistic services into one that is wellness based through Wellity’s expertise. MW Wellness Management Co., Ltd formed a joint venture with Wellity Pte Ltd (49%) and Mida Asset Company Limited (51%) as a management company to manage Aksorn Rayong Hotel.
Restructured into AJT Wellity Asia due to the lockdowns as a result of the pandemic, focusing on organic growth primarily in the Thai market. KEY MILESTONES The Phornprapha family approached AJT Wellity Asia to develop the concept for their iRETREAT brand collective. Appointed chief advisor managers. AJT Wellity Asia currently manages 5 retreats. Siam iRETREAT: Anthony Jude Tan was appointed managing director of Siam iRETREAT, subsidiary of Siam Motors Group, to create a retreat concept and manage the property. AJT HOLDINGS PTE LTD. – AJT WELLITY ASIA CO., LTD. Plans to launch MEWE: A preventive & immunity medical wellness hub, a conveniently located one-stop shop of medical wellness services. AJT Wellity Asia is setting up its own education platform, The Wellity Institute. We are partnering with IES Education, a France-based university, Thammasart University (Thailand), and ReGenera, a non-profit science organization to form a curriculum covering the practical skills needed to thrive in the medical wellness sector. AJT Wellity Asia has branched out into specializing in transaction advisory and portfolio management for family businesses all over SEA. 2020 2021 2022 2023 AJT Wellity Asia formed an exclusive partnership with CEED Thailand to provide pro bono mentoring services for women entrepreneurs in the medical wellness space.
