The story and injustice of The case.

The story of Brown versus board of education is that a Girl(Linda Brown) was unable to go to a public school two
miles away from her house. She was forced to go to a Black school much farther away. She had to do this due to
segregation in the schools. Segregation means The separation of a race, class, ethnic group, from the rest of society.
She was separated from the rest of this kids that were white and went to that public school. He father sued the
school which started the famous Brown v Board of education case. The case called Brown v Board of Education sued
the schools over segregation in public schools was unconstitutional. The injustice is that a black girl was unable to go
to a public school two miles away from her house just because she was black.

How their actions made a difference in the Civil Rights Movement

Their actions made a difference when in 1954 racial segregation was declared
unconstitutional in Public schools. This was important because it changed history
forever and the public school system forever. The case was also a milestone in
African American history. Milestone means a important event. This was a very
important by it being a Supreme Court decision. That makes everything an important
event. Civil rights means Basic rights every citizen has under the laws of the
government. This connects to the topic because the Right to go to public schools
and for everyone to have an education was taken away.

This document was a huge step towards desegregation in America.
Desegregation means to stop racial segregation in public schools
and other public facilities.

This is a statue of the judge that made the court decision to desegregate
schools. The statue is In Maryland.

action

The made a monumental change in society and proved to others it was possible to make a difference in the world.
This made other want to take action.

How their actions inspire other.

The probably inspired MLK and Rosa parks. They were one of the first to bring awareness and
take action to the topic of Civil Rights for African Americans.

What their legacy is and how they affected
history.

Their legacy is that of someone who changed schooling for kids in the U.S forever.They impacted
history by changing the public school system for the better. It is important to to remember them
because they stood up for what was right and made a positive difference in America.

This is a quote said in the court of law during the case by George E.C “Deprived of the equal
protection of the of the laws guaranteed by the fourteenth Amendment, there for segregation
of america's public schools was unconstitutional.” This connects back to the topic because this is
what Brown was was preaching and telling people.
