Read the story below and answer the questions that follow.

One night, Jun Kang was packing his schoolbag for school tomorrow. He checked his class
timetable and packed all the books he needed. Then, he went to bed.

The next day, Jun Kang went to school as usual. He saw that his classmates were
wearing their PE uniforms. He was surprised because they were supposed to have English
during the first period. He quickly checked his class timetable. He realised that he had
misread it. He had prepared for Wednesday’s subjects instead of Tuesday’s.

During PE, the teacher, Encik Hassan, told Jun Kang he cannot join the activities
because he was not properly dressed. Jun Kang sadly sat on the side and watched his
classmates play sports.

After PE, Jun Kang had Science. Since he did not bring his Science textbook, he could
not follow the lesson. Farid, who sat next to him in class, offered to share his textbook with
Jun Kang. Jun Kang thanked Farid for his kindness. Jun Kang promised to himself to be
more careful in the future.

chocolates and a bouquet of flowers for her.
Mona: We should get her a bouquet of red roses since she loves them so much.
Linda: Since Mother will return home late from work this Friday, we should buy the chocolates

and roses and make the card then.
Mona: Okay, let’s do that. Father is also planning to surprise Mother by taking her out to

dinner to her favourite restaurant.
