‫مدارس منارت جدة العالمية‬

Vision: Ma’arif aims at having a pioneering role in preparing innovators to participate in improving our society.
Mission: Ma’arif’s teams work to create a motivating learning environment which leads to creativity.

Manarat Jeddah International School-Boys Section

Our Vision: To create an atmosphere which encourages high educational achievements, develops
exemplary character and fosters multicultural awareness.
Our Mission: To provide our students with a challenging standard of education with a fully integrated
curriculum which develops academic and social skills in a stimulating technologically modern, enjoyable
and secure environment.

What are the reports issued by the school for the final year students to join the university?
Accredited report with student grades
An accredited high school completion certificate
Certificate of Accreditation
A certificate of good conduct and behaviour - if the student desires - to present it to the university.
Accrediting student certificates for the American diploma from the accreditation body.
Attested Cambridge certificates from the British council for British track students.

* Important advice for Parents:
-Identify your son's abilities and skills and direct him accordingly.
- Talk to them and find out about their preferences and the university they want to join.
- Help them search for the best options available.
- Provided him with psychological and material support so that they can fulfil their hopes and aspirations. --
-Ask them regularly about their academic progress made in school and encourage them to enrol in the best
universities.
-Be in constant contact with school about the programs available to prepare them for universities.

For students:
1-Determine your goals according to your inclinations and abilities.
2- Research the entry requirements set by public universities in and out of the Kingdom.
3- Develop yourself and support your abilities with programs and courses in abilities (Qudrat) and
achievement (Tahseeli) if you want to join Saudi universities.
4- If you want to join an international university, write a special application for the university you want to
study at, stating in the application the reasons for choosing this university, your work, your previous
academic studies, your activities in your specialty or the reasons for choosing this specialization.
Some universities run a special online test for applicants, such as Harvard University, which requires a
Scholastic Assessment Test. These tests are conducted by the university to know the capabilities of
advanced students and contain tests in language, general information, and science.
6- International universities require a high level of proficiency in the language taught at the university. It is
best to attend a special language training program and prepare well for the language tests you want to
take. Some American and British universities require the TOEFL, and others require IELTS. Some
universities do not accept any language exams and require university-specific exams, such as Cambridge
English exams from Cambridge University, or SAT from Collage board.
7- You may be required to submit a letter that proves your curriculum of study, signed by your former
teachers who supervised you in your academic life.
8- The academic certificates must be translated and certified by the Ministry of Education and Foreign
Affairs and from established academic institutions.
9- Apply early to universities and do not delay paying any application fees. Try to seek a grant.
10 - If your application is accepted initially, this does not mean your final acceptance, because some
universities require a personal interview for the applicant and are sometimes through modern means of
communication, in this case you must prepare well in terms of appearance and language because it may be
the most important interview in your life.

The importance and benefits of school extracurricular activities

The importance of extracurricular activities at school is well established. These activities must exist to
complement the school’s academic curriculum, meet the spiritual, social, physical, emotional and physical
needs of our students and enhance their overall educational experience.
Extracurricular activities provide a setting to become involved and to interact with other students, which in
turn has a positive impact on the students’ emotional, intellectual and interpersonal development. By
working together with other individuals, students learn to negotiate, communicate, manage conflict and
lead others. Taking part in these out-of-classroom activities helps students to understand the importance
of critical thinking skills, time management and academic, physical and intellectual competence. Working
outside of the classroom with diverse groups of individuals allows for students to gain more self-
confidence and multicultural awareness.
Extracurricular involvement allows students to link academic knowledge with practical experience, which
leads to a better understanding of their own abilities and talents.
These involved students develop into well-rounded individuals with enhanced skills and superior levels of
self-confidence, making them more attractive to both establishments of further education and future
employers.
Student involvement in extracurricular activities also positively impacts educational attainment. Students
who are actively engaged are more likely to have higher educational ambitions than uninvolved students.

These are programs, activities and learning experiences that complement the academic curriculum and often
provide students with motivation and opportunities to think broader and deeper about the subjects they
study. We conduct several activities at our school and are constantly reviewing what we do in order to
