What to do: For the skis 1 3

Step 1: Draw two straight lines on a piece of cardboard
(approximately 18cm long) and then free-draw a pointed 4 6
tip on one side and a rounded tip on the other side.

Step 2: Cut out the ski shapes that you drew on the
cardboard with scissors.

Step 3: Glue foam craft paper to both front and back of the
cardboard skis.

Step 4: Push the foam together – there will be a slight outline of
the cardboard through the foam. Cut out the shape of
the ski following the indented outline.

Step 5: Using your fingers, bend the tips of the front and back
of the skis so that they come up just a little bit.

Step 6: Cut a piece of elastic. The length should be a
piece that would fit around the ski loosely.

Step 7: Tape the elastic to the bottom of the ski.

What to do: For the poles

Step 1: Cut the skewers – approximately the same length as the skis.

Step 2: Glue each skewer into each of the candle holders.

Step 3: Cut a piece of elastic (cut it long enough to fit very loosely around
Barbie’s hand).

Step 4: Tape the elastic in a loop shape onto the top of the skewer.
