Bliss of Life – Annual CSR Project Conducted by the Future Marketers Association
Bliss of Life is the series of CSR projects conducted every year
by the Future Marketers Association (FMA), the official student
association of the Department of Marketing Management,
Faculty of Commerce and Management Studies, University of
Kelaniya.
Bliss of Life was again nurtured this year, outstretching
the philanthropic arms of the undergraduates to benefit the
community with a sincere hope. The project was held on 4th
July 2016, based on developing Ihalagama Sri Dharmarakshitha
Primary School, a less privileged school situated in Ragama. The
project included reconstructing the classrooms with all necessary
equipment to ensure an ideal atmosphere where the students are
no longer disturbed. It was indeed a blissful and meritorious
event, which was a blessing for both the undergraduates who had
organised the event and the little children who were fascinated
to witness the illuminance spanned all over the school premises.
It brought an unspeakable pleasure to see the naïve smile on
their faces and how grateful they were for what they were gifted
with.
Bliss of Life 2016 marked another success story for the FMA
and remained a blissful memory for the undergraduates to
cherish for a lifetime.
