WORDS FROM THE HELM
Four years at the helm of E-Type UK and we are still going full throttle. During our time behind the wheel we’ve launched a bespoke V12, participated in the world leading Pebble Beach Concours and introduced our sister company DM Historics.
2019 saw the opening of our new showroom and saw the team racing at the highest level in Historic Motorsport. This said, what I am proudest of is the support our customers and enthusiasts have shown for our Coffee, Cakes and Classic Cars mornings over the course of 2019. With over 1,000 attendees across the events we have managed to raise over £600 for MS Society a charity that means a lot to our family run business, helping to establish us as leading classic car hub in the south east.
Much has been written about the market in 2019, we have found that the right cars finished to the best standard continue to sell. Only further re-enforced with another Outside Bonnet Locker selling for $625,000 at Gooding & Co. No longer is this newsworthy after the $650,000 achieved in 2018 for an E-type.
We are looking forward to 2020 where you will be able to find us at Paris, Essen, Goodwood and of course Pebble Beach.
We hope to see you there and thank you for your support in 2019.

Since the launch of our first Bespoke V12 E-type, dubbed by press as “Project Zero”, E-Type UK has taken on count- less global orders to create the next edition. With orders commissioned from clients in China, Malaysia and USA, we look forward to producing a range of road going and lightweight models in our 2020 Bespoke series.

The latest restoration to rock the automotive industry was our ‘Lost in Gloucestershire’ project, rescuing Chassis #1E20010, the 10th Series 1 Coupe 4.2 finished in right-hand drive, from the undergrowth and creating something highly useable packaged into a 1960’s design.
