The Do’s and
Don’ts of Business
Attire

Class Period: 2
Teacher: Ms. Williams

Men’s Attire: Do’s Most business attires for men would mostly include a
white long sleeved collared shirt, (optional) a plain
colored blazer over the shirt (along with formal pants
that match the jacket), black or brown shoes, and a
necktie to top it off. Make sure your hair is clean and
neat too. And always tuck in your shirt.

Men’s Attire: Don’ts There are some strict rules when is comes to
men’s attire. Some of them include no
colored/crazy hair, no shorts, don’t wear
obscured clothing, and don’t leave some parts
of your shirt untucked.

Women’s Attire: Do’s Women’s attire is more stricter than men’s since some
females can be quite suggestive. However, there some
rules to follow when it comes to female attires. Some
include skirts ( not too long, short, sexual, or crazy), a
nice plain looking sweater with a blazer over it, keep
the hair into a low/middle bun or a simple ponytail, and
you can wear low high heeled shoes or flats. As for
makeup, keep it mostly natural and not over the top.
For perfume, you shouldn’t spray a strong scented one
and try to keep it minimal as possible.

Women’s Attire: Don’ts Of course there are strict rules for women
who don’t look professional for business.
These include no crazy colored hair, no short
skirts, don’t dress as if you are going to be in
a music video for Cardi B, no obscured
clothing choices, and as for makeup, never
make it too heavy or wear a lot of makeup.
The same goes for perfumes. Just don’t dress
as if it is a fashion show for Gucci or
something.
