CHAIRMAN’S MESSAGE
‘India@75 has uniquely positioned itself so as to make
innovative interventions for bridging the gaps in the endeavors
of the Government, Industry and Private players for skill
development, entrepreneurship and employment generation to
translate India’s demographic profile into dividend not only for
India but globally.’
Adi Godrej
Chairman, Godrej Group
India turns 75 on August 15, 2022. This is a rare and glorious
occasion which comes rarely in the life a country when it steps
from the old to the new. This will be time when a new era will
begin for India to become a global leader in thoughts, words
and actions.
In order to achieve this ideal, India cannot depend solely on
conventional methods. In view of brisk pace of development
in the global arena, it will require a paradigm shift in the New R.K. SACHDEVA
India’s thought process, methods and policy making tools.
Greater and sharper policies and tools will be required in the identified areas viz. agriculture,
industry, education, employment, health and governance, to achieve India’s true and maximum
potentials. As a matter of fact, everywhere the golden rule ‘minimum government but maximum
governance’ will have to be followed. The ultimate aim has to be that the essential services reach the
last person seamlessly.
We, at Sachdeva Public School, truly realise our responsibility. As an institution we shall do our best
in realizing the aspirations of people of this New India in a finite time-frame. This of course, requires
both the Government and citizens to believe in the same vision and also work together to realise it.
We are therefore preparing our students, the young citizens of this country, to be a part of a standing
group of volunteers, who are willingly prepared to work, with passion, dedication and devotion,
for a few years of their life-time to a build a New India: The India@75. The school is bringing out
the present edition of its magazine ‘The Quest’ with ‘Resplendent India@75’ as its central theme,
primarily with this objective in view.
I congratulate the Principal, Faculty, Staff and Students for this novel idea particularly in a
period when we are celebrating ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsava’ , I am confident that efforts of us all,
compromising a billion plus people, would result in a billion plus opportunities for maximum benefit
of all sections of population of this great country.
I wish you all a Happy and Prosperous New Year.
S.K. Sachdeva

MANAGER’S MESSAGE
“India@75 should be a happy nation and requires an engaged
Republic. A transparent and trust driven society where people
have jobs and financial security. A nation that focuses on
infrastructure, education and healthcare for all its citizens.”
Shobana Kamineni
President, CII; Executive Vice Chairperson, Apollo Hospitals
Enterprise Limited
India has come a long way from being perceived as a begging
bowl, of the world, it is being considered to-day a threat to
established economic powers particularly in the fields of
Information Technology, Pharmaceuticals and even in the
manufacturing sector.
India will be celebrating its 75 years of Independence on 15th
August in 2022. It shall be a glorious and momentous occasion R.K. SACHDEVA
for embarking and launching strategy for New India@75.
The strategy will be based on three fundamentals. Firstly, development must become a mass
movement resulting in better ease of living for each and every Indian. Secondly, broad-based
development of all regions and all sectors. Finally, bridging the gap between private and public
sectors performance.
The laudable goals enunciated above by New India@75. Strategy requires all of us to work shoulder
to shoulder and sincerely dedicate ourselves towards these goals. It will require innovative thinking
to provide solutions to problems that conventional methods did not. The greatest challenge for New
India is to establish ‘sustainable development’ for ‘a sustainable future’.
It is worth while to mention here the universal fact that education has a vital role to play in
the progress of any society and hence also for success of the above strategy. This requires our
Government to have a vision to make India shine in the field of education. This aspect has been well
taken due care by the present Government by framing and implementing the National Education
Policy (NEP), 2020. The NEP provides flexibility, open access to education, skilling and upskilling
training both at the School and Higher Education levels. This is bound to rapidly transform the
workforce besides providing social security.
We at Sachdeva Public School are marching in consonance with the development journey of our
country. Besides academic inputs, we through, continuous mentoring, social and cultural activities,
prepare our students to be proud participants of resurging and shining India.
I congratulate the Principal, Faculty, Staff and Students of the School for bringing out a new edition
of their School Magazine, ‘The Quest’ with ‘Resplendent India@75’, as its central theme. This
endeavor can rightly be taken as a token effort of our School Fraternity to associate itself with a
greater national cause to better the lives of our citizens, and building ‘Aatmanirbhar Bharat’ when
India celebrates 100 years of its independence.
May God bless you all with his divine benevolence! 3
R.K. Sachdeva
PRINCIPAL’S MESSAGE
“India was the cradle of human race and the
birthplace of human speech,”
Mark Twain
‘Resplendent India’...an India steeped in rich traditions
with the most modern and global outlook, that’s my
nation... which every Indian heart envisions and beats
for. Resurgent India is a reflection of splendid ethos
and the distinct twenty one century Indian identity.
The rich heritage of India, one of the world’s oldest
civilizations, is an all-embracing confluence of
religions, traditions and customs. India’s rich heritage
and culture remains unparalleled, and the country’s
MONA RASTOGI unity in diversity is still being looked at with awe by
the entire world.
As our country prepares to celebrate 75 years of independence this year and
takes its rightful place in the comity of nations under the dynamic leadership of
Hon’ble P.M. Shri Narendra Modi,we at Sachdeva Public School strive to enrich
every student with our country’s rich legacy and illustrious past through our
annual school magazine ‘The Quest’. The aim is to empower young minds and
create a learning ecosystem that can nurture young learners for future leadership
roles.
The greatness of our culture should be made known to the younger generation.
The elders in the family along with the school have the ultimate responsibility
to invoke in them love for the Indian heritage. This must be done from the very
beginning, only then we can preserve our rich heritage.
Drawing inspiration and direction from the Hon’ble Prime Minister’s clarion call
for establishing a New India by 2022, we at our school strive to help achieve
the aspirations and realities of the country through the young but inquisitive
children of our school. We aim to make a powerful future force that will give
a direction to 21st century India and lead it towards a prosperous, progressive
and peaceful India by 2047 consolidating its influence and leadership with gentle
strides in the world, a true culmination of dreams of an entire nation.
I leave you with the words of our great thinker and philosopher Swami
Vivekananda: 4
“Arise, awake and stop not until the goal is achieved.”
“I dream of an India that is prosperous, strong, and caring. An India, that regains a place of honour in
the comity of great nations.”
Atal Bihari Vajpayee
Dear Reader,
We take immense pleasure and satisfaction in bringing out the new edition of ‘The Quest’
to you. The theme this year is ‘Resplendent India@75’.
India@75 is a path breaking initiative. It envisions how India should be in her 75th year
of independence and seeks to bring together all stakeholders including the industry,
government, institutions, community groups and individuals to translate the vision into a
reality.
With India turning 75 on August 15th 2022, a moment will be marked that comes, but
rarely in history, when we are stepping out from the old to the new. It will be the era of a
New India; an era where India begins its journey to become a global leader in thought and
action. Society today places a high value on innovative thinking primarily because it has
been able to provide solutions to problems that conventional methods did not. The key
insight here is that it is the utility of innovation, not the novelty that makes it so desirable.
New India has to establish Sustainable Development, by gradually changing the ways in
which we develop and use technology, for a Sustainable Future.
As we celebrate India’s 75th year of independence this year, we must chart a route that
will not only create a progressive, prosperous, and caring nation, but will also give us the
necessary strength to hold this greatness intact for future generations.
This year’s edition of ‘The Quest’ is a chronicle of the level of greatness this beautiful nation
of ours has achieved and the great heights we potentially can achieve if we put our heart and
soul into it. We extend our sincere thanks to Principal Ma’am for always being our support
and guiding light. With great pleasure we present to you this year’s issue with the hope that
we have succeeded in engaging and enthralling you.
With warm regards
Editor
