ST. MICHAEL’S CHURCH 91ST ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION

From the Pastor

Dear Parish Family,
On behalf of the parish staff, I would like to thank
you for your continuous devotion and commitment to
our parish through the years. We are grateful for your
tireless, dedication of your time, talent and treasure.
I pray that God continues to reward you with
countless blessings.
I am also extending my gratitude to all the sponsors
for this year who never cease to show their
unwavering support for our parish.
This past year we have been blessed as a parish with growth, both in numbers and spiritually.
We welcomed 117 new members to our parish, with 4 Catechumens receiving Baptism,
Communion and Confirmation through our RCIA program. 46 children were Baptized,
81 received First Holy Communion and 62 youths received the Sacrament of Confirmation.
We celebrated and welcomed 12 new couples through the Sacrament of Matrimony.
New Special Concerns Ministries were also instituted to cater specifically to the needs of our
parishioners and the community. We are indeed grateful to God for this growth in our
parish.
This year, the Parish Council chose to honor parishioners who have been devoted to our
parish for over 60 years, as well as honoring Connie Foster for her tireless dedication and
service to your children and our community.
My prayer for you is that the Grace of God will continue to remain abundant in your lives.

MISSION STATEMENT

St. Michael the Archangel Parish, a diverse, spiritual community
in action, is dedicated to drawing people to Christ, to growing
disciples, and to making church and worship matter. We do this
(1) through our liturgical worship as we remember and celebrate
in memory of Him; (2) through the proclamation of the Good
News, as we believe and profess the message of Jesus Christ not
only from the pulpit, but also in the way we live our lives; (3)
through living out our stewardship of time, talent, and treasure in
the service of the needs of our church, the needs of one
another, and the needs of those who seek divine help through
our doors.
