ห้องประชุม ศาสตราจารย์ หม่อมหลวงปิ่น มาลากุล ห้องประชุมหม่อมหลวงปิ่น มาลากุล ตั้งอยู่ บริเวณ ชั้น 2 ของอาคารอักษรศาสตร์ 1 ซึ่ง เป็นสถานที่สำ หรับจัดการประชุมของบุคลากร คณะอักษรศาสตร์ รวมไปถึงจัดการอบรม กิจกรรมต่าง ๆ ของนักศึกษาในคณะ โดยที่ มาของชื่อห้องประชุมมาจากชื่อของ ศาสตราจารย์หม่อมหลวงปิ่น มาลากุล ผู้ก่อ ตั้งคณะอักษรศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยศิลปากร ศาสตราจารย์ หม่อมหลวงปิ่น มาลากุล สืบ เชื้อสายจากสมเด็จพระเจ้าบรมวงศ์เธอ เจ้าฟ้า มหามาลา กรมพระยาบำ ราบปรปักษ์ สำ เร็จ การศึกษาระดับปริญญาบัณฑิตและปริญญา มหาบัณฑิตจากมหาวิทยาลัยอ็อกซฟอร์ด ประเทศอังกฤษ ท่านมีบทบาทในการ พัฒนาการศึกษาของไทยในหลายมิติ ทั้งการ ศึกษาขั้นพื้นฐานและอุดมศึกษา อีกทั้งยังได้ รับการยกย่องเป็นศิลปินแห่งชาติสาขา วรรณศิลป์และองค์การศึกษาวิทยาศาสตร์และ วัฒนธรรมแห่งสหประชาชาติ (UNESCO ) ได้ ยกย่องให้เป็นบุคคลสำ คัญของโลกด้านการ ศึกษา วัฒนธรรม(วรรณคดี) และการสื่อสาร พระราชวังสนามจันทร์ จังหวัดนครปฐม โดยจัดตั้งคณะอักษรศาสตร์ขึ้นเป็นคณะแรกของ วิทยาเขต อันเป็นการขยายวิทยาเขตไปสู่ภูมิภาคและเป็นจุดเริ่มต้นของการก่อตั้งคณะวิชาที่หลาก หลายของมหาวิทยาลัยศิลปากรเพื่อรองรับการเปลี่ยนแปลงของสังคมไทยและสังคมโลก ในเวลาต่อมา ศาสตราจารย์หม่อมหลวงปิ่น มาลากุล ได้ดำ รงตำ แหน่งอธิการบดี มหาวิทยาลัยศิลปากร ระหว่างปี พ.ศ. 2508 – 2514 ซึ่งในปี พ.ศ. 2509 มหาวิทยาลัย ศิลปากร มีนโยบายเปิดคณะวิชาให้หลากหลาย ขึ้น แต่พื้นที่ในวังท่าพระนั้นคับแคบ ไม่ สามารถขยายพื้นที่ออกไปได้ จึงได้ขยาย วิทยาเขตการศึกษาไปยัง ARTS 55TH ANIVERSARY 01
M.L. PIN MALAKUL MEETING ROOM This meeting room is located on the 2nd floor of the Aksornrasat 1 building which is the place for holding meetings of the academic personnel in Faculty of Arts, together with organizing various instructional activities for students in the Faculty. The name of the meeting room originated from ML Pin Malakul, the founder of the Faculty of Arts. Professor ML Pin Malakul is descended from His Royal Highness Prince Mahamala, Krom Phraya Bamrabparapak. He completed a bachelor's degree and a Master's degree from Oxford University, England. He contributed to the development of education in several dimensions, including basic education and higher education. He is also regarded as an influential person of education, culture (literature) and communication. Later, he held the position of the Chancellor of Silpakorn University from 1965 to 1971. In 1966, Silpakorn University had a policy to open more faculties but the capacity in Tha Phra Palace is limited that it could not be expanded. Therefore expanding the campus to Sanam Chandra Palace, Nakhon Pathom Province, by establishing the Faculty of Arts as the first faculty which expands the campus to the regional level and initiates the establishment of various faculties of Silpakorn University to support variations in Thai and global society ARTS 55TH ANIVERSARY 02
และเป็นอาจารย์สอนภาษาอังกฤษที่คณะอักษร ศาสตร์ และสอนภาษาไทยที่โที่ รงเรียนมาแตร์เดอี ต่อมาได้รับแต่งตั้งเป็นผู้ช่วยผู้อำ นวยการ ฝ่าย วิชาการ โรงเรียนเตรียมอุดมศึกษาคนแรก จากนั้น ท่านได้เดินทางไปศึกษาต่อระดับปริญญาโทด้าน การศึกษาที่ม ที่ หาวิทยาลัยมินนิโซตา ประเทศ สหรัฐอเมริกา และกลับมารับราชการ ในตำ แหน่ง คณบดีคนแรกของคณะอักษรศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยศิลปากร วิทยาเขตทับแก้ว และลา ออกจากราชการในปี พ.ศ. 2513 ซึ่งขณะนั้นกำ ลัง ดำ รงตำ แหน่งคณบดี คณะอักษรศาสตร์ มหา วิทยาศิลปากร เมื่อคณะอักษรศาสตร์ได้สร้าง อาคาร 36 ปีขึ้นและมีห้องประชุมขนาดใหญ่ตั้งอยู่ บริเวณชั้น 2 ของอาคาร 36 ปี คณะอักษรศาสตร์ จึงได้กำ หนดชื่อของห้องประชุมดังกล่าวโดยใช้ นามสกุลของท่านในการตั้งชื่อว่า “ห้องประชุม เทพยสุวรรณ” เพื่อเป็นเกียรติแก่ท่าน โดยมีไว้ สำ หรับการเรียนกลุ่มใหญ่หรือใช้ในการประชุมและ การจัดกิจกรรมในคณะ เช่น โครงการรับขวัญ บัณฑิตและโครงการสิบนิ้วประณตน้อมกราบครู ฯลฯ ห้องประชุม ม.ล.บุญเหลือ เทพยสุวรรณ 03 ศาสตราจารย์ หม่อมหลวงบุญเหลือ เทพย สุวรรณ เป็นธิดาของเจ้าพระยาเทเวศร์วงศ์วิวัฒน์ (หม่อมราชวงศ์หลาน กุญชร) กับนวล กุญชร ณ อยุธยา สำ เร็จการศึกษาจาก คณะอักษรศาสตร์ จุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย เมื่อปี พ.ศ. 2479 แล้ว เข้ารับราชการสอนหนังสือที่โรงเรียนเตรียม อุดมศึกษา ARTS 55TH ANIVERSARY
MEETING ROOM Professor ML Boonlua Debyasuvarn was the daughter ofChaoPhyaDeweswongwiwatana (M.R. Larn Kunjara) and Nual KunjaraNaAyudhya.She graduated from the Faculty of Arts, Chulalongkorn University in 1936. She started to be a teacher in Triam Udom Suksa School, a Teacher Assistant in English at the Faculty of Artsand a teacher in Thai at Meter Dei School. Then she was appointed as the first Assistant Director in Academic Affairs, Triam Udom Suksa School.She went to study for a Master's degree in education at the University of Minnesota, USA and returned to work as the first Dean of the Faculty of Arts at Silpakorn University, Thap Kaew Campus, then resigned in 1970. The Faculty of Arts has built a meeting room using her surname in her honor for "Debyasuvarn Meeting Room" which is a large conference room located on the 2nd floor of the 36 Years Building, intended for large groups of classes or for meetings and activities in the Faculty, such as farewell ceremony, the ceremony on Teacher’s Day etc. M. โรงละคร วัวั วั ช วั ชรนาฏยสภา (โรงละคร A4) โรงละครวัชวัรนาฏยสภา หรือรืที่เรียรีกกันว่าว่ โรงละคร A4 เริ่มริ่ ก่อสร้าร้งเมื่อมื่วันวัที่ 7 เมษายน พ.ศ. 2514 แล้วเสร็จร็วันวัที่ 3 ตุลตุาคม พ.ศ. 2514 โดยถือเป็นโรงละครแห่งห่แรกของคณะ อักษรศาสตร์ตัร์ ตัวอาคารของโรงละครวัชวัรนาฏยสภามีลัมี ลักษณะ เป็นอาคารทรงแปดเหลี่ยม แต่เดิมใช้เช้ป็นอาคารเรียรีนรวม ใน ช่วช่งแรกนั้นนั้อาคารแห่งห่นี้ถูกถูใช้เช้ป็นสถานที่จัดจังานวันวัสถาปนา มหาวิทวิยาลัยศิลปากรและวันวัสมเด็จพระมหาธีรธีราชเจ้าจ้ต่อมา งานดังกล่าวได้ย้าย้ยไปจัดจัที่พระตำ หนักทับขวัญวัแทน โรงละคร นี้ถูกถูออกแบบให้มีห้ลัมี ลักษณะเหมือมืนโรงละครอารีนรีา (Arena) ที่ มีลัมี ลักษณะให้จัห้ดจัแสดงละครตรงกลางอาคารแล้วให้ผู้ห้ชผู้ มนั่งนั่ ล้อมรอบอยู่บยู่นพื้นพื้ยกสูงสูหรือรือาจแสดงบนพื้นพื้ที่ยกสูงสูแล้วให้ ผู้ชผู้ มนั่งนั่ชมละครตรงกลางเวทีก็ได้เช่นช่กัน นอกจากนี้ยังยัมีกมีาร ออกแบบหลังคาให้เห้ป็นปล่องสูงสูบริเริวณด้านข้าข้งอาคาร สามารถปีนขึ้นขึ้ ไปโปรยวัสวัดุปดุระกอบฉากลงมาได้ ปัจจุบันบั โรงละครวัชวัรนาฏยสภา (อาคาร A4) ถูกถูใช้เช้ป็นสถานที่ สำ หรับรัจัดจัแสดงละครเวที และใช้เช้ป็นห้อห้งเรียรีนของสาขา วิชวิาการละคร ภาควิชวิานาฏยสังสัคีต และใช้เช้ป็นสถานที่ในการจัดจั กิจกรรมต่างๆที่เกี่ยวข้อข้งกับการแสดงละครของภาควิชวิา นาฏยสังสัคีต 07 ARTS 55TH ANIVERSARY

INTERIOR DESIGN Pathom Chetiya Meeting Room (w. 409) The meeting room is located on the 4th floor of the Vajira Mongkut Building and it is currently being used for organizing meetings with 40 seats of the Faculty of Arts. The word "Pathom Chetiya" is a Pali language meaning the first pagoda. It is named to relate to Phra Pathom Chedi, which is an important historical site of Nakhon Pathom Province. Silpakorn University is an educational institute located in Nakhon Pathom District, Nakhon Pathom Province that has an significant place in Buddhism, "Phra Pathom Chedi". It isanimportantplac e of worship in Thailand which is placed inside Wat PhraPathomChedi Ratchaworamaha wihan. It has a long history and is believedthattheBu ddha'srelicswerepl acedhere.Forthis reason,theroom"P athomChetiya" is anametoreflectthe importanceof"Phr aPathom Chedi" and for prosperity. ศาลปู่ชัยมงคลเทพหัสดิน ศาลพระภูมิประจำ คณะอักษรศาสตร์ ก่อตั้งขึ้นเมื่อ ประมาณ พ.ศ. ๒๕๒๕ โดยดำ ริของศาสตราจารย์ ดร.มนู วัลยะเพ็ชร์ คณบดีคณะอักษรศาสตร์ในขณะนั้น สาเหตุที่คณะจัดตั้งศาลพระภูมิขึ้น เนื่องจากในอดีตเกิด เหตุการณ์ที่นักศึกษาของคณะอักษรศาสตร์ประสบ อุบัติเหตุบ่อยครั้ง ศาสตราจารย์ ดร.มนู วัลยะเพ็ชร์ ร่วม กับคณาจารย์จึงตกลงกันตั้งศาลพระภูมิขึ้นที่บริเวณด้าน หน้าคณะอักษรศาสตร์ เพื่อเป็นเครื่องยึดเหนี่ยวจิตใจและ ช่วยสร้างความร่มเย็นให้แก่คณะฯ นับจากนั้นเป็นต้นมา นักศึกษา คณาจารย์ และบุคคลทั่วไปก็นิยมมาสักการะ บูชาศาลพระภูมิแห่งนี้จนถึงปัจจุบัน ต่อมาศาลพระภูมิได้ รับการบูรณะครั้งใหญ่ดังที่เห็นในปัจจุบันในสมัยรอง ศาสตราจารย์ ดร.มณีปิ่น พรหมสุทธิรักษ์ เป็นคณบดี คณะอักษรศาสตร์ในวาระที่ ๒ ผู้ที่มีส่วนเกี่ยวข้องที่ สำ คัญในการบูรณะครั้งนี้คือ รองศาสตราจารย์กัญญ รัตน์ เวชชศาสตร์ ซึ่งดำ ริให้ทำ บ่อน้ำ และรูปปั้นพญานาค เพิ่มเติม พร้อมงูและตัวศาลให้เป็นศาลสีขาวจนมีชื่อเรียก ติดปากกันว่า “ศาลขาว” ตั้งอยู่ด้านหน้าของตึกอักษร ศาสตร์ 1 เป็นศาลพระภูมิที่ผู้คนมากราบไหว้ขอพรเพิ่ม ความเป็นสิริมงคลให้แก่ชีวิตและยังเป็นศูนย์รวมจิตใจ ของนักศึกษาและบุคลากรของคณะอักษรศาสตร์มา จนถึงปัจจุบัน ศูนย์รวมจิตใจของนักศึกษา และบุคลากรของคณะอักษรศาสตร์ ARTS 55TH ANIVERSARY 05
SHRINE PU CHAIMONGKOL THEPHASADIN shrine since then. The Shrine underwent a major renovation as seen today when Associate Professor Dr. Maneepin Phromsuthirak was the Dean of the Faculty of Arts for the 2nd term, and an important person involved was Associate Professor Kanyarat Vejasart, who initiated the construction of ponds and Naga statues. The shrine known as "The White Shrine" is located in front of the Aksornsart 1 Building, is a place where people come to pray for blessings and it is respected by the students of the Faculty of Arts. The shrine of the Faculty of Arts that was established in 1982 by Professor Dr. Manu Wanyapetch, Dean of the Faculty at that time. The reason for establishing the shrine was because there were frequent accidents among students of the Faculty of Arts at that time. Professor Dr. Manu Wanyapetch together with faculty members agreed to set up a shrine in front of the Faculty of Arts to be a place to anchor the mind and help create peace for the Faculty. As a result, students, faculty members and the general public have come to worship this ARTS 55TH ANIVERSARY 12

SRA DAO KAM DAO BRIDGE Sra Dao is a large pool in front of the 50th Anniversary Building, Silpakorn University, with a bridge spanning the pool called the Kam Dao, connecting the 50th Anniversary Building and the Aksornrasat 2 Building. The reason why it is called the Kam Dao Bridge (Walking across the star) is because it is considered as a bridge that leads to success, resulting in the pool in front of the 50th Anniversary Building called Sra Dao as well. Some says that because at night, the stars in the sky can be seen reflected on the surface of the water, so it is called Sra Dao. This place is a recreational spot for the students in the Faculty bth before and after class. Including being a place for personnel and the general public to relax.
