Bagian ini membahas soal yang ada di UN Bahasa Inggris SMP dan teks yang

films and new albums usually go straight to the top.
What’s a typical working day for her? Making a film is a hard work. She usually

Sub unit teks interaksi transaksional memiliki KD yang sangat banyak
sehingga memerlukan waktu dalam memelajari dan menguasai materi. Teks
ini tidak ditemukan pada soal-soal UN tetapi sebenarnya apabila memelajari
IPK kunci dari KD yang ada itu sebenarnya menjadi prasyarat untuk
menguasai teks deskriptif. Teks deskriptif ini tidak hanya hadir dalam
kehidupan nyata secara tunggal tetapi menjadi bagian dari teks report,
naratif, pengumuman dan lain-lain. Namun yang dibahas di bagian ini adalah
teks deskriptif yang memuat perbandingan jumlah orang, binatang, dan
benda.
Perbandingan berarti seharusnya ada dua teks yang memuat perbandingan
tetapi di UN yang ada adalah jenis teks deskriptif dan report yang berisikan
perbandingan jumlah dan sifat orang, binatang, dan benda. Tidak menutup
kemungkinan bahwa akan ada soal yang benar-benar membandingkan dua
teks yang memuat perbandingan. Selain itu, tantangan berikutnya adalah soal
yang diujikan untuk kemahiran berpikir aras tinggi (higher order thinking
skills) dan langkah-langkah pengembangannya.

Tim penulis mengharapkan masukan dari para guru untuk perbaikan kualitas
dan kegunaan tulisan sub unit pembelajaran ke depan. Masukan yang
diharapkan adalah sebagai berikut.

• Persepsi guru sebagai pembaca dan pengguna terhadap
pengembangan unit dan soal-soal sebagai bahan pembelajaran.

• Perbaikan proses pembelajaran yang dirasakan kurang setelah
memperlajari unit pembelajaran teks interaksi transaksional.

• Kekurangan perencanaan program dan pelaksanaan pembelajaran
guru dan berusaha meningkatkan kemampuannya.
