SPRING 2015
welcome.
From Craig
Hello 5LINX Representatives,
We began 2015 in Tampa with an incredible burst of energy—you
could even say that our newest Wellness product Hi5 Fuel may
have inspired the kick start of what is bound to be our best year
ever. I firmly believe that there has never been a more exciting
time to be a part of the 5LINX family.
Last year we proudly rebranded the company and made our mark entering into the $570 billion health and
wellness industry. This year we’re keeping the momentum going as we continue to innovate and expand
our product and service lines. We’ve successfully launched the Philippines office, and plans for international
expansion in Mexico, the Dominican Republic and Haiti are underway. We were thrilled to promote 14
Senior Vice Presidents and even one Platinum Senior Vice President in January, and the list has continued to
grow throughout the first quarter.
As Spring approaches, we welcome a season of new beginnings. I’m pleased to announce that Vanguard has
now become Aspire Magazine. We’ve always been at the forefront of our industry, but living a better life
is about more than just leading the way. It’s about actively striving for more every day. We never want you
to stop dreaming of the life you deserve. A model 5LINX Representative focuses their ambitions towards
achievement. That’s why we want each and every one of you to rise high and tower above the competition.
In each installment of Aspire, we’ll not only feature the incredible success stories of our Senior Vice
Presidents and Platinum Senior Vice Presidents, we’ll give you corporate news highlights, in-depth articles
on industry trends and even professional tips for selling our products and services. I’m excited about the
new magazine format and direction, and I know you will be too.
Those of you who joined us in Tampa know that we are poised for success in the coming months. As we
always say, you’re in business for yourself, but not by yourself. 5LINX is here to give you the training and
tools you need accomplish your goals. That’s why it’s so important for you to join us at one of our Regional
Training Events taking place across the country on July 11, or at our International Training Event in Baltimore
from September 23-26. If you haven’t already, go to 5LINXevents.com and get your tickets today!
Good luck and best wishes,

Thaddeus Biagas
Thaddeus started his 5LINX business
in August of 2014 and is an IMR
from Sunnyvale, TX. He started the
Hi5 Challenge while he was helping
his girlfriend compete in the 2014
Las Vegas Hi5 Challenge. After years
of trying and failing at different
exercise and diet plans, Thaddeus
was skeptical of trying yet another. He was determined to
make a change after his doctor diagnosed him with pre-
diabetes, sleep apnea and high cholesterol. “My doctor
recommended that I lose 30 pounds and reduce my waist to
36 inches to take control of my health. In 55 days I surpassed
that after years of attempting and giving up. I have lowered my
blood sugar, cholesterol and eliminated my sleep apnea—all in
55 days. I have transformed my life…my health is now under
control and I do not treat this as a diet plan, but a lifestyle
transformation.” Thaddeus lost 41 pounds during the Hi5
Challenge and is committed to this new healthy lifestyle.

excruciating sciatica back problems to the point that I
couldn’t enjoy leisure activities with my 13-year-old son.
I could hardly walk because the pain was so bad… My
goal in this Hi5 Challenge and the reason I entered was
to lose weight and transform my body so I could regain
my health back to its fullest.” After participating in two
Hi5 Challenges, Aretha has lost over 80 pounds and has
become an inspiration to everyone around her. Aretha is

PSVP
PATRICIA VAN PELT
Our next PSVP has been with 5LINX for
13 months. Her mother raised her and
her six siblings in the notorious Cabrini
Green Housing Development in Chicago.
The strength, faith, and perseverance her
mom displayed is what has inspired her to
believe that she can achieve anything that
she can imagine.
Prior to 5LINX, she was an Illinois State
Senator. The greatest obstacle that she
had to overcome was helping people rise
above their fears and to believe that they
could achieve their greatest dreams.
Her greatest personal accomplishment
as a 5LINX Representative has been
promoting six SVPs in her first 13 months.
Her inspiration to succeed has been a
conviction that people are supposed to be
better off than they are, and that she has
a role in helping blaze the trail for success
so that others can see the way.
Her words of encouragement are “Believe
in your God-given ability, trust that you
have everything you need to succeed, and
never look back.”
Her mentors include DPSVPs Frank

Their greatest inspiration to succeed has been making God famous through the life that they live, as well as
leaving a legacy for their girls and family that is bigger than a life insurance policy and a good paying job.
Their words of encouragement are “You must be prepared to fight & win! This will be your route to success in
