was great and I don't think there could be a better driver/guide in the business.
Our guide Dermot Honan was just great, he shared so much information

were well informed of what to expect and where everything was at each and

CIE Tours is proud to be a preferred partner A WORD FROM OUR PARTNERS
with the leading hospitality providers in
Ireland and Britain
For more than 85 years, CIE Tours has established relationships with hotels and attractions
across Ireland, Scotland, England, and Wales to ensure you enjoy the very best rates and
experiences, and are treated as a preferred guest when you travel with us. Here’s what a few of
our partners have to say…
HASTINGS HOTELS – NORTHERN IRELAND
“The relationship between CIE Tours and Hastings Hotels spans the generations, and in
many ways it feels like we have ‘grown up’ together. Hastings Hotels have been welcoming
CIE Tours clients since 1967 into The Slieve Donard Resort and Spa; and now, 50 years
later, we welcome CIE Tours clients into all 7 of our hotels in Northern Ireland. We now
know what works for both parties, and most importantly, for CIE Tours clients, whom we
value dearly. Perhaps I can be accused of being cheesy when saying ‘working with CIE
Tours is like wearing your favourite slippers’ – but in truth, that’s how it is!”
– Aileen Martin, Sales Director
O’DONOGHUE RING O DONOGHUE RING HOTELS
“For over 30 years O Donoghue Ring Hotels have had the pleasure in working with
H OT E L S and welcoming guests of CIE Tours to Killarney. I have always found CIE Tours to be a
professional operator with the utmost of integrity, constantly demanding the highest of
services for their guests. In my experience both Drivers and Tour Directors on CIE Tours are
incredibly knowledgeable of the region and are great ambassadors. The O Donoghue Ring
Hotel group philosophy is very much in tune with that of CIE Tours: the guest and guest
experience is centre of all we do. Together I look forward to many more decades working
alongside CIE Tours.”
– Michael O Donoghue, Managing Director
ATHOLL PALACE HOTEL
“Atholl Palace Hotel is a fairytale hotel surrounded by Scottish countryside. It is featured
on the Scottish Dream and Irish & Scottish Sampler tours. We have been working with CIE
Tours for a number of years, and the hotel continually scores highly with our clients. The
hotel won an award of excellence in 2015, and in 2016 it was awarded best overall hotel
for service and hospitality. It’s a very popular hotel with both clients and Tour Directors, and
we have a fantastic working relationship with them.”
– Andrew Walker, Revenue Manager
Contact your travel agent or call 1-800-243-8687 CASTLE HOTEL WINDSOR
“The Castle Hotel Windsor, part of the MGallery by Sofitel collection of signature hotels,
is proud to work with CIE Tours to welcome guests to our historic hotel in this famous
Royal borough. Our close working relationship is centred around ensuring our guests have
the best experience possible. Our strong relationships and transparent communication
channels with CIE Tours help us achieve the same ambition: to meet the needs and
requests of our guests whilst ensuring we provide a personalised experience for each
individual to enable them to enjoy their vacation without any worries.”
– David Hayden, General Manager
DROMOLAND CASTLE
“We have a long association with CIE Tours over many years, and it is our pleasure to
welcome CIE Tours clients to Dromoland Castle. They enjoy the luxury and history of the
Castle along with excellent dining and activity options. As one of the premier suppliers to
CIE Tours, it is our great pleasure to receive excellent feedback from their clients who enjoy
the Castle. CIE Tours and Dromoland Castle are well established in the Tourism industry
over many years, and we are delighted to continue our association into the future. With
a reputation built on traditional values and warm hospitality, Dromoland Castle and CIE
Tours are an excellent partnership which has been developed over many years.”
