LANGKAWI Langkawi is anarchipelago inthe state of Kedah Darul Aman, Malaysia. Langkawi Island is also aplace where it is tax free. Inaddition, theisland is also richinnatural beauty and is one ofthe mostpopular tourist destinations in Malaysia.
SATUN Satunis acitylocated insouthernThailand, thecapital of Satunprovince. Itcovers the entirePhimantambonin Mueang Satun. In addition, Satunis located 985 km south of Bangkok. As of 2005 ithad apopulation of 21,498.
Hat Yai is acityinsouthernThailand near the Malaysian border. Hatyai is also located 946 km south of Bangkok. Hat Yai is thelargest cityin Songkhlaprovinceand ispart ofthe Greater Hat Yai-Songkhla Metropolitan Area. Inaddition, the Cityis often mistaken for aprovincialcapital. Infact, Songkhla is thecapital and administrativeand cultural center while Hat Yai is the businesscenter. HATYAI

For my journal for the first time, our group has chosen to visit one of the places namely Langkawi, Satun and Hatyai. For the first time, our journey started at 4.50 am. All students should gather in front of Polytechnic Metro to wait for the bus to arrive. After entering the bus, our first destination is heading to KLIA 2 which takes about 6 hours to get there to board a plane to Langkawi as the first day's destination. we waited for 2 hours to board the plane. Next, after reaching Langkawi, I went straight to the money exchange counter to change Malaysian money to Thai money. After changing, I went straight to the van and waited for the other friends to board the van. DAY 1
Next, we went straight to the Baron Hotel to check in the hotel. After checking in we were given 45 minutes to pray before going to eat. Next place, we headed to the HIG complex. There are many items such as clothes, souvenirs and many more, but what I prefer there are many chocolates that are sold at a cheap price. The second place is, we headed to the Dataran Lang to take pictures and then headed to Pantai Cenang. There is a fire show and restaurants and souvenir shops that can be bought there. Next, we went back to the hotel to rest and sleep.
The second day of the expedition, we got ready to check out the hotel and headed to Kuah Jeti to board the ferry. Before that, the food committee had given us Nasi Lemak as breakfast for that morning. After a few minutes of waiting, we continued to board the ferry to Satun, Thailand which took 1 hour. We arrived in Satun at about 10.50 and we were immediately greeted by Mr. Fahmi and his wife and the tour guard Mr. Rudin. After that, I continued to wait in line to go to the immigration counter. After that, we continued to go to Wong Sai Thong to do kayaking activities. On the way there Mr. Rudim told about the cultures in Satun and taught a little Thai language. DAY 2
After arriving at Wong Sai Thong, we were treated to lunch with a variety of delicious side dishes. After finishing we were given time to pray. We did kayaking at 2 o'clock and finished at 4.30 pm. We were also treated to snacks such as fried yams and tea after doing the kayaking activities. After finishing kayaking, we headed to Starin Resort Satun to check in the resort and we continued to rest in our respective rooms.
The third day, we packed up to check out the hotel, before checking out we had breakfast at the resort cafe first. After finishing breakfast, at 8.30 am we left for Satun Community College to do a dance performance. We arrived at the college at 9 am and we were greeted by the staff from the community college. The program started with the song Negaraku and the song in the country of Thailand. After that, the program started with introductions from Thai people followed by lecturers and students. Right after that, the program started with speeches from Thai people and lecturers and we were given some sweets to eat. DAY 3
A slide show was also installed to give some exposure about interesting places in Malaysia. While the slide show was installed, we got ready to start the dance event. The dance event started with the Zapin dance, the Chinese Dance and the last Joget Pahang. The program continued with a dance from Satun Community College. Finally, as students of the program, we ended with a gift as a souvenir from Malaysia as a reminder. We finished the program at 12 noon, after that, we went straight to Masayed Khuan Lang to do csr activities. When we got there, we were warmly welcomed by the people of the mosque and we were given fried noodles and syrup water. After finishing the meal, we were given time to pray asar first, before doing the csr activity.
For csr activities, we divided the tasks, I was assigned to clean the outside of the mosque such as washing the floor and sweeping. For other groups there is cleaning in the mosque. After finishing, we were once again treated with sweets and the mosque distributed shirts to each student as a sign of appreciation. Before going home, we took a picture together to make memories. After finishing, we continue to Yannaty Hotel, Hat Yai, as usual Mr. Rudim tour guard will share stories about Hat Yai. Arriving at Yannaty Hotel, we are allowed to go out for sightseeing in the city of Hat Yai.
The fourth day, as usual, I had breakfast first at the Yannaty hotel. After breakfast, at 9 o'clock we moved to Chang Puak Elephant Camp. It takes 2 hours to get there. When we got there, we took pictures of the group members first, then we went in there. At Chang Puak Elephant Camp, to ride an elephant the fee is only 500 baht while to feed and take pictures with the elephant is only 100 baht. We were there for 2 hours. Next, after going to Chang Puak Elephant Camp, we stopped at a restaurant for lunch and prayers. After finishing eating and praying, we headed straight to Samila Beach. At Samila beach we can see the beauty of the beach and there are also food stalls that we can buy there, even items such as clothes, keychains, bags are also available there. DAY 4
After more than 1 hour there, we also headed to the sea verse. There, I was able to take pictures because the place is very beautiful and suitable for people who like to take pictures. One of the places I like to take photos in sea verse is on the bridge. After walking around the sea verse, we all continued to board the bus and go back to the hotel again, when we arrived at the hotel we rested and at 8 o'clock we were asked to get off to go to the Asian Night Market by taking a tuk tuk.
At the Asian Night Market, many items can be bought there, so for those who like shopping it is very suitable to go there, the price can be reduced. Besides, the food is also there and everything is delicious and the most interesting thing is that I was able to buy the shrimp that I wanted for a long time. After we were satisfied with our purchase, we went back to the hotel by taking a tuk tuk.
The fifth day of our last expedition in Thailand. As usual, we first have breakfast at the hotel and get ready to check out the hotel. Next, after checking out, we continue to Padang Besar KTMB Station. When we got there, we waited for 2 hours to board the ETS. For 2 hours of waiting I managed to buy some food and drinks there. Next, exactly at 1.40, we were asked to gather and line up to board the ETS. We depart from KTMB Padang Besar to KL Sentral and we arrive at KL Sentral at 8pm. And at 9.30 we boarded the bus and went back to Kuantan. We arrived in Kuantan at 2 am. Finally, that is our expedition this semester and we are very satisfied with the expedition that has been carried out this time. DAY 5
EXPECTATION Able to complete tasks well and perfectly. Being able to make this expedition a learning experience instead of fun. Ensuring that the expedition runs smoothly and can provide a good experience.
