Shangming Jewellery is founded in 2009 in Zhuji, the capital of pearls in China, and has grown to become
one of the leading pearl suppliers in China today with over 20 years of experience in pearl cultivation.
Shangming Jewellery specializes in production and design of freshwater pearls and known for its
distinguishing design, fine craftsmanship and superior customer service.
We supply quality freshwater pearls in a wide variety of sizes (1-16mm), shapes (irregular to round) and
colors (white, natural & dyed) at low prices. Seed pearls (baby pearls) are our speciality. We also offer

semi-finished pearls and finished products such as necklaces, bracelets, brooches, pendants, earrings and
etc.

Shangming Jewellery has 3 offices. One of our offices is in Shanxiahu, Zhuji which is the largest and most
professional freshwater pearls town in China. We also have offices in Hangzhou, the capital of Zhejiang
Province, and Hong Kong. Hong Kong office acts as a transfer point and trade platform for the customers

from abroad.
Our cultivation farm and factory is located in Zhejiang Province. Shangming Jewellery is involved in every
phase of the production from the cultivation of raw pearls till the finished products which enables us to

meticulously control every phase to ensure the superb quality.
“Charming Pearl” is the registered brand for our pearl jewellery. We have professional designers for
jewellery R&D and we have gained a good reputation at home and abroad thanks to our quality pearls and

Pearl Luster

Luster is essentially the reflective quality or brilliance of the surface of the pearl nacre. The more lustrous the
pearl, the more it shines and reflects light and images.

Pearl Surface

The surface cleanliness of a cultured or natural pearl has a direct correlation to its value. A pearl can never,
according to rules set forth by the FTC, be graded as "flawless", but the degree or percentage of inclusions can

be measured.

Pearl Sizes

Generally speaking, the larger the size of the pearl, the greater its value (all other factors being equal.) Larger
pearls not only require larger oysters to produce them, but they require much more time to develop inside the

oyster.

Pearl Shapes

Because pearls are natural organic substances, they occur in a wide variety of shapes, many of which are quite
unique and interesting. Every pearl has a slightly different shape.

Pearl Colors

Pearls come in a wide variety of colors, ranging from white all the way to black. An important value factor to
consider when grading pearls is the color both overtone and body color.
