I hope this story teaches you something that you
need to know if you don't already know this because
you should.

I have a friend group which includes Me, Sydney,
Skylar, Val, Mel, Justice, and Realyn. We were all at
Skylar’s house. We were sitting on the couch talking
and having a good time. It was 11:34 PM and Jaelyn
and Ari were on their phone, and they saw an Instagram
post about a party happening that night. We all wanted
to go to a party, but we didn’t have a ride.

The guy showed up driving a white van
that scared us a little bit, but we didn’t
really think about that. We got in the van
and everything seemed normal until the
guy skipped a turn… Skylar pointed that
out to him, but he just ignored her.

A couple of minutes later, the guy
pulled into a driveway in another town,
and we did not know what town we
were in. His driveway was very dark
and narrow. We saw an old
broken-down house ahead of us.

When the guy got out he told us “I will be right
back. if you leave I will find you.” Sydney and
Lauryn talked back to the guy and that really made
him mad, so he threatened to hurt us if we didn't stay
in the car.

So when the guy left the car, Sydney said that we
should try to run while he is gone but Mel and Val
thought that was a bad idea. Sydney and Skylar
jumped out of the car window, and Sydney broke her
leg. We all laughed at her, but we had to help her up
so we did. Then they caught us. So we had to run
back to the car so then we would not get caught. Now
we all had to act normal.

We could not do anything because if we did then we
would be suspicious, and Sydney was scared the most
because she could not walk on her leg. Then all of the
sudden he came up to us and said, “ You all come with me,
now.” We all got frightened. Then he brought us into the
house and put us in the closet.

We stayed in the guy's house for 30
minutes. He was banging on the door and
windows. Then Justice used a pin to unlock
the door and we all got out. Justice was in his
fridge and pantry looking for food. We were
messing around in his house until we heard a
glass window break.

Ari screamed and all of us shushed her then we all split up
in groups of 3 to hide somewhere in the house. Sydney, Jaelyn,
and Ari were in a group together, and they decided to hide in the
guy’s basement under the stairs. After an hour of hiding, the
guy found Sydney, Jaelyn, and Ari. He grabbed Ari first, and
Sydney screamed, so loud the neighbors could hear her.

Sydney stood up and tried to pull Ari back.
He knocked Sydney and Jaelyn out and put
them, in a closet. The rest of the group ran over
to them, but they couldn’t find Sydney or Jaelyn;
they only saw Ari on the ground. But then
Justice heard sirens. The group got so happy,
but they were scared because they couldn’t find
Sydney and Jaelyn.

Five minutes later, the cops
showed up, and Raelyn explained

Then he was put in jail for 30 years and then we were
happy. Then Lauryn asked the cops to use her phone then
Lauryn called her mom and told her mom the story then she was
on her way immediately. Then five minutes later, she was
there, and my dad was with her, and I was so happy to see them.
My mom and dad were going to bring us all home. We were
on the way home when my mom's car broke down. Then we all
sat there thinking. Then Bailey said to my mom, “Should we
call an Uber?” Mel agreed with her. We all laughed. That was
my Scary story. This is a lesson that you should learn from this
you should not trust Ubers if you can’t find a ride then you
should not go.
