WHAT TCCTA DOES:

• Represents community colleges and faculty in the Texas Legislature with the help of our lobbyist Beman Floyd
• Advocates for legislation that supports quality education in both technical training and workforce as well as the

liberal arts and sciences.
• Works to resolve disputes between faculty and institutions by informal consultation and in severe cases legal

representation with the offering of professional liability insurance which provides up to $3,000,000.00 coverage
for damages and $10,000.00 for attorney fees.

• Offers discounts on various services through the work with AMBA, Association Members Benefits Advisors
• To join and buy the liability insurance go to TCCTA.org to create an account and set your membership to auto

renew each year.
