An Abundant Life Is My Birthright

Understanding your birthright

We are all born with an inherent birthright in this earth, and we need to
understand for ourselves what that birth right means to us. Simply put, your
birthright as described is a particular right of possession or privilege a person
has from birth, to an inheritance. It’s your inheritance, heritage or privilege; it’s
your natural right, a right that is possessed by everyone.

We are therefore born with the right and privilege to have a life of abundance
and to be the owners of our own part of the universe, as we see it.

If having a birthright is a natural or moral right possessed by everyone, is it not
our duty to claim such abundance in our life? Yes it is! But why is it that most
people on the planet live in relative poverty, while the richest 1% of the world
population owns more than half of the rest of the world? Is it their fault? No!

Society has conditioned us to belief that such a right is only reserved for a
privileged few, those we see as born with the proverbial “silver-spoon.” But
that’s not how man was created to live, as many philosophical and religious
powers would lead us to believe. We somehow know that we have this
universal right to have a life of abundance in all areas, yet we tend to limit
ourselves by our thoughts, beliefs and actions.

Living a life of abundance is our inherent right and allows us to have a greater
connection with the universe, in accepting our birthright and heritage. It is in
abundance that we can express the fullness of our being, in doing so; we
confirm the universe’s will for us to be rich!

It’s your Heritage, but you must earn it!

There’s a well know saying by Lewis Carroll “If you don’t know where you are
going, any road can take you there”. You are therefore “directionless”; in a state
of survival. But as soon as we realise our identity and clarify what we want in
life, we set in motion a chain of events that shapes our future for the better.

In certain cultures when a young man comes of age he needs to go out into the
wilderness and become one with nature, in order to claim to get “his rite of

passage” into the society he lives in, when he returns he is greeted with much
celebration.

But he has to “do what it takes” to claim that inheritance.

The same is true for our right to an abundant life on this earth. It is ours, but
we have to develop the right thinking, skills, words and actions in order to
obtain this birthright.

Our journey on this course is intended to take us through the steps of
developing our inner strength and leadership abilities. Now this in itself is not
an overnight process, we need to persevere in taking these steps to get to that
place where we receive the abundance that the universe has in store for us.
Knowing this will be one of the most important determinations on your
journey to your life of abundance.

Claiming your success by your actions:

There is no use to claiming your birthright, without developing the necessary
beliefs to obtain it, and taking the necessary actions to achieve it. This will be
discussed further in this course, but you must understand from the start that
you need to be the success that you want to see in your life, from the start.

Your thoughts and words carry power:

Whatever you release into the universe with your thoughts and tongue have
power, whether it is positive or negative. Your thoughts, words and actions can
become daily anchors that shape your life path, however, the great thing is that
you can at any time develop new thoughts, say new things to yourself and
others, and take a set of different actions that will consciously steer your life
towards what you want - your inheritance. That is the great news, that you are
able to re-design your entire life the way you want it!

Every day you must remind yourself that an abundant life is your birthright,
and claim it to be yours. Follow these mantras for the next 21 days and it will
become part of your sub consciousness. It will start to re-shape your thought
patterns. Develop the sincere belief that these mantras are the first steps on
your journey to success and abundance. Understand within yourself that you
are not entitled to a life of abundance on this earth, unless you do something,
yet it is your birthright, the universe desires it for you, and you will do what it
takes to obtain it from today.

Today’s exercise:
Decide today that you are claiming your birthright, as a citizen of this
universe, to everything that is in store for you. Make a decision that from
today, that you will start to think, speak and act in accordance with your new
set of beliefs. Write these new decisions and beliefs in your notebook or
pocket pad as they come to mind

The Universe Provides Me with an Abundance of Opportunities

Taking the Opportunities Presented to Us

We have learnt about claiming our right to a life of abundance as our birthright
and embracing it. This abundance is the substance in the universe and this
substance presents itself as opportunities waiting for us to lay claim to it.

These opportunities are all around us and are presented to us daily, but we
must learn to start where we are at this very moment. Your decision to take
this path of entrepreneurship is a key component in realising your Life of
Abundance.

Yes, it is true that our lives are filled with many challenges, and we are
surrounded by the struggles of daily life. In addition to that, we are daily
confronted with a society that forces us to “fit in”, we call it: The Herd
Mentality

The key is to find your own truth and to learn to trust your instincts when you
embark on exploring your potential. There are many naysayers out there in
your personal circle, who, despite good intentions, may not understand this
driving force within you to be successful. They will attempt to fill your mind
with doubts and fears in their “honest” attempts to “help you”

Due to all these factors, you may sometimes become disillusioned and think it’s
not worth pursuing these opportunities; and you may want to settle for a life of
mediocrity. But you have embarked on this great journey to abundance,
success and financial freedom. So therefore embrace this great opportunity
and remind yourself that you will keep moving forward; that you will never
again allow yourself to be impoverished by these temporary thoughts you
have.

Seize the Opportunity!

Everything around us is brought into existence by thought which once was in a
person’s mind or imagination. These thoughts were processed into existence

by consistent action. We see money, cars, properties, things and everything
that was brought into existence by man. Those men and women seized their
chances to process the opportunities that once began as ideas in their minds.
In much the same way, you can seize with confidence, trusting your instincts,
that you were correct in embarking on this entrepreneurial journey, and that
you will seize this great opportunity with your hands, heart, mind and actions!

In order to succeed we need to develop an “I can” mindset and set the doubts
aside that so easily surround us. In much the same way there is a certainty in
the universe that things will be in order. In nature, a cheetah knows when he
takes off that he can catch the fastest deer, and when he fails in his attempt, he
does not stop until he is successful. In much the same way we must embrace
this Opportunity.

Accepting and seizing the opportunity before you therefore becomes a
fundamental aspect of your road to having a life of abundance and financial
success.

Therefore it is ok to release yourself from all the negativity surrounding you in
your circle of family and friends in terms of this opportunity and you can start
to focus your concentration on achieving the success you desire.

Listen to these tracks and read these books and other material to assist you in
eliminating all doubts and fears when such are presented, and say “Yes” to the
start of your new Life.

Today’s exercise:

Jot down ideas in your notebook or pocket pad on how seizing the
Opportunity this business presents will help you to achieve the life that you
want for your family, finances, business circles, social circles, charity,
relationships, health, friendships, and life goals.

Keep adding ideas or editing ideas as they come up, and transfer these to your
active goal sheet. Decide to seize each and every day with vigour and
enthusiasm, and count every step as a win!

Every day I manifest new ways to increase my bank account

Begin by Taking Action

A successful entrepreneur knows that when he gets out of bed in the morning
he needs to find new ways to increase his revenue to ensure his business is
successful. Therefore we need to arm ourselves with the correct tools to be
successful in life and to manifest new ways to increase our bank accounts.

Just like in nature we need to look at the ant which works together as a
network to build an empire, finding new ways to store up the reserves they
need to survive, and the honey bee that is constantly busy finding the brightest
flower to make the sweetest honey. Get up each day and take the action to
build your business network!

The lazy man shall suffer and the hard working man shall inherit the riches of
the lands, so don’t blame society, your circumstances or any other force for
your current financial situation. The universe has provided you with this
opportunity, you have seized it, make the most of it!

Your knowledge is important and you will find new ways of doing things
better; this digital age we live in gives you unprecedented access to new ideas
to become better at what you do. Do the research and learn the strategies that
you want to make use of, and become a product of the product. Your
knowledge is power – this cannot be taken away from you, and it is the thing
that what will give you confidence in your business meetings or telephonic
discussions.

Organise yourself, organise your work area, dress for success and believe that
you are moving forward every day. Then take the steps of action on a daily
basis to move you closer towards your goals.

Cut your Expenses

Attend to the important issue of money. Don’t say: “I don’t have the money to
implement the things which can increase my bank account. Think like a

businessman. Firstly, realise that money comes into existence through
borrowing, and secondly look at your current lifestyle so that you can make the
changes to invest into your business. The long term rewards are worth it!
Changes starts at home, and once you have your family behind you, implement
budget changes to facilitate making your financial as an entrepreneur, a reality.
Get rid of the “comfort now” mentality and sacrifice to gain leveraged, long
term wealth.

Seek a financial planner to assist you with cutting your expenses or simply stop
or cut down on excessive spending while you build your entrepreneurial
empire. Ask yourself: “Do I really need that brand new car now, just to impress
the neighbours, or do we really need to eat out twice a week now?” Remember
that most of the things we do is just to fit in with the herd and not to feel left
out. That is the main reason why for most people, there is too much month left
at the end of the money, and we live our lives in this cycle without becoming
wealthy.

But decide now that you will make these temporary sacrifices, so that you can
live your ideal life on your terms within the next 3-5 years or sooner. It’s worth
the sacrifice

Commit to offering your customers in your new entrepreneurial business more
in value than what you can receive from then in money, and you will build a
super-successful business.

Have a financial goal and plan, and set dates for these goals to be achieved.
Place your initial business revenues towards debt settlement and continue this
process until you are debt free.

Look around your neighbourhood and see where you can add value to the
needs of the community or special people. But learn to take care of yourself
financially. Generating the wealth to increase your bank account is within your
power and your will to succeed is in your mind.

Write down your goals in notebook or pocket pad. The first set of goals
should be financial goals for the next 3 months, 6 months, 1 year, 3 years and
5 years
Have 16 Personal and Material Goals that you wish to achieve over the next
10 years and write down how seizing the Opportunity this business presents
will help you to achieve these goals.
Focus on family life, finances, business circles, social circles, charity,
relationships, health, friendships, and life goals.

I always give my best in whatever I do

Always Give Your Best

A life of abundance is my birthright, the universe provides me with an
abundance of opportunities and I manifest new ways to increase my bank
account; all start with the fundamental principle of thought patterns, will
power and action patterns.

Every day we need to get up and show up and we need to keep showing up and
doing what is necessary until the desired result is achieved. Whether we feel
like it or not, the overwhelming reason must be our desire for success.

Knowing why you are doing what you are doing, will determine your drive to
succeed, and to bring out your best in achieving your ideal outcomes. If you
have limited your vision in the past, now would be an ideal time to reassess
exactly what you want from life.

Know that you can have everything that you want to have if you are willing to
pay the price for success. And this has to do more with consistency than fast
and quick results. So fix your mind to a star and enjoy the process of achieving
your dreams, as therein lies the real reward – the enjoyment of the many
challenges. Know now that adversity is a part of the challenge of greatness, and
expect a measure of adversity in line with what your goals and dreams are.
Embrace this fact that you are moving forward, and tackle adversities not as
setbacks, but as opportunities to move forward.

As you encounter new people on your journey of abundance, you will find that
some will encourage you and others will discourage you. Although all this is
well meant, the choice is yours and yours alone to drive your life towards the
direction of your choice and remembering to trust your instincts. In all this, it
is important to seek advice, but not to follow all advice, only that which fits in
with your vision.

Above all else, you must work committedly towards your goals and deliver
your best every day. And in doing so, always add more in use value than what
you can take in monetary value from others. You must feel comfortable that
you had done for others exactly what you would have expected them to do for
you, were the roles reversed.

To be the best at what you can possibly can be you need to train and educate
yourself and take massive action daily. Every day comes with challenges,
opportunities and adversities. So, if your goal is to be the number one in your
company you need to model what the current number one guy is doing and
seek to improve on his performance. Every successful entrepreneur has one or
a few mentors or had someone training them in what they do.

The best athletes’ and sportsmen in the world know that it takes discipline,
hours of daily training and the intense desire to succeed. They know that if
they don’t train every day, eat the correct food and train their minds with that
will to succeed they won’t do their best. In much the same way you must take
responsibility, and develop your entrepreneurial abilities to succeed.

Don’t blame anyone for your situation, take responsibility and realise that you
are at cause over the success of your life. Then commit to do your best daily to
move forward in a committed way. And even if your day did not work out as
planned, believe that you have given your best in moving forward a step.

Today’s exercise:

Study the life of 3 great business people, and 3 great sportspeople

What do they have in common?

What, in your observation of these men and women, are the things that they
do that sets them apart from others?

I become more and more Passionate about living

Passion is the Main Ingredient

The more goals you achieve and the more you become positive in your
thinking, the more passionate you will become about life. And achieving big
goals is achieved by achieving many smaller goals consistently. Passion for
what you are doing ensures an abundance filled mind that experiences joy,
peace and happiness. A positive mindset is created by the willingness to
succeed, and developing the passion to enjoy the process.

Aligning yourself as the driving force behind your desire to live a life of
abundance is the moment that your passion grows. And realising on a daily
basis that you are in the perfect business, whichever business you are in, and
that you can add value to those you care about, is where the gratitude grows,
and which in turn increases your passion for what you do.

Living your life on your terms provides the fuel you need to strive for doing the
best that you can do every day. Every time you accomplish a goal, be it large or
small, you set yourself into a state of positivity for moving forward with your
life.

The passion you develop will rub off on those that you meet and your
enthusiasm will be noticed. Your confidence will inspire everyone you meet,
and enable them to believe in what you are doing, simply because of your
passion and enthusiasm.

So fall in love with what you do in life, as anything done with passion gives you
a feeling of greatness and the best positive feeling you ever had. You will
inspire others to be just as passionate as you.

Your happiness coming from this passion will lead to abundant success as an
entrepreneur. The great Richard Branson words, “I’m not happy because I’m
successful, I’m successful because I’m happy” is a lesson for us all,
demonstrating that passion and enthusiasm can indeed lead to financial
wellbeing.

Always choose to see the glass as half full - See the beauty in life even though
the world is proverbially “tumbling around you” as observed by others. Let
your passion, enthusiasm and belief reign in your mind and weed your mind
from negative thought patterns daily. You will begin to attract positive
opportunities that the universe presents to you regularly. As your passion
draw these energies into your life the negativity will become distant memories.

How can these benefits help others, and why is it that you can become

I create abundant Success in life

You are the Master of Your Destiny

“I am Empowered, Happy, Healthy, Wealthy and Successful. My passion, my
“why” to succeed assist me in creating that abundance in my life. Every day I
get up I dress up and I show up”

These and other similar power statements jump starts your mindset for the
day, and determines the actions that you will take for that day. It will also
determine the intensity of the actions you take, so if I constantly tell myself I
will have a good day it will happen, and if I do the opposite, that will happen
too! Don’t meditate on that which you don’t wish to happen!

The same goes for the idea of blaming others for your circumstances. This will
get you nowhere in life, as you determine the level of success you receive in
life. What you put in is what you get out.

Society has conditioned us with constant negative media bombardment and
other means, to develop a pessimistic outlook in life. However, the good news
is that you can recondition your thinking with abundance statements until you
start experiencing these positive changes for yourself. The rest will follow, as
automatic believability kicks in.

So wake up and get out of that mind set, wake up from your disillusionment
and start declaring success and abundance over your Life. Moreover, work
towards your success, as it won’t be magically handed to you. The reason why
the rich keep getting richer and the poor stay poor is directly as a result of
different mental attitudes and thinking.

The very substance that created wealth for the wealthy is the same substance
that creates life itself. It’s already out in the universe waiting to be released
into your presence, and that substance is called thought. You think of your
success, you create it; it’s all in your mind.

There’s nothing more powerful than a positive mindset to cultivate the
expectation of wellness, wealth and abundance, this is the very essence of
success, impressing your thoughts upon the formless substance in the
universe.
See it, believe it, and do it. Make a daily withdrawal of power statements from
the unlimited well of abundance, and replace all negative thoughts with
positive thoughts. If you do not know how to do something, find out how it’s
done, find a way to discover how it works, ask the questions why, do the
search. Everything is possible and with Knowledge, Words and Action, we have
great Power. Call your Success into Existence.
