WHY IS IT
IMPORTANT TO
UNDERSTAND

YOURSELF?

Understanding myself is important to
direct me to learn what I like and dislikes,

discover my beliefs and value in life.
Understand how to react in every
situation I encountered, how can I
improve my emotional intelligence,
Increase my capacity for self-

compassion, Have a clearer idea of my
life's purpose, Know what it takes to be
self-motivated, and Be more adaptable.

Ultimately, all of these things will
increase my self-awareness. Being more

self-aware lends enhanced self-
development, acceptance, and
proactivity while benefiting my overall

mental health.

Hello and welcome to
my life!

Physical Self

LOVING AND ACCEPTING YOUR OUTER FORM IS THE
MOST IMPORTANT THING TO APPRECIATE YOUR
PHYSICAL SELF.

I honestly have some issues within my
body, the so-called insecurities, and it is
my skin color. Because of playing volleyball
since elementary, my skin gets darkened and

sometimes I compare myself to others who

were sexy tops I wish I can
also where like that also it includes

my underarms.

Where I cant naturally express it or
expose it because of its color or

because of its appearance. But as time
passes I accepted my physical self and

loved it, most of all when I
gave birth to my son where all
of my so-called mga kasingit singitan ng
body got darkened and I did not
recognize my body but I accepted it
because I loved my son and I

don't care for it, I only care
is my son. That's the point where
I learn to love myself unconditionally.

Social Self

As human beings, we inhabit
certain roles in our lives which
are always changing as we grow
into ourselves. An aspect of this
process is through socialization
in which we internalize different

perspectives about life.

Having friends beside me is
a big help to my mental
state. Friends to talk to in
good times or bad times,
who comfort each other
sides.

But not all the time we have
each other, we have various
aspects in our life that we
must first manage. Here are

my circle of friends.

MaSteerlfial

Material things are my coping
mechanism when I'm stressed
and my way to reward myself.
Examples of this are lots of food,
bags, shoes, and driving or riding

a motorcycle,

These things are not
permanent but once in
my life, I make sure to
reward and make myself
happy or contented with

material things.

Now that I'm a mother
my material self

redirects to what my son
needs. Like his clothes,

shoes, and toys.



The digital self sometimes is our escape
from our reality. These are the pages
where we reveal ourselves as good and
pleasing in the eyes of the people who

see us in the social media we use. But in
reality, it is not what we tend to display.

In my case, I use only social
media to upload memorable

pictures of myself to
remember, places I visited,
and specifically pictures of
my son on my Instagram
account or sharing My days

in my Facebook and
Instagram stories.

Spiritual
Self

I have been active in serving God since I am
elementary. In the catholic church that I attended
before in our Barangay, I read every Sunday the bible
verses or Pagbasa in Tagalog, I think I am just in
Grade 4 at that time, and I already love to serve him
and it continues when I am in high school and my

love for him Go deeper when I Born Again. I
encountered God in so many different

ways in my life, how Good and mysterious he is. I
have been in Dance ministry, Cleaning ministry,
Asher's, and most of all Serving the Pastors or being
their Assistant. In serving God I have found what is
my Gift, and that is Cleaning and serving, because of
that, a lot of my church mates even the Pastors are
calling me to clean their houses, and at that point I

make extra income to support my needs while
studying and can help my family in our expenses and

I'm not a shame of it.

PoSliticeallf
In politics, I don't engage myself too
much, because I'm not interested in it
but I am aware and I listen to the news
about what is happening in politics in
our country. Before voting, I just make
sure that the Candidate that I will choose
could make a great impact and change in

our country, has credibility, has a
Platform, and truly understands what

could be his/her role.

It's just so tragic how the
administration today works, it is
truly important to choose who
has a plan proposal or programs
for our country. Hindi sapat ang

"UNITY", ang daming nag
hihirap ngayon yet those who

stand by Marcos ay nag
bubulagbulagan. Filipinos must
wake up and change how our
thinking works for the country,

and future children.

Other Informations
about me

I am a volleyball player since elementary, and it
captures my heart since then. Playing volleyball,
listening to kinds of music, and watching movies

or series specifically Medical Series like Grey's
Anatomy and Dr. Romantic are my hobbies.

Cooking dishes for my family, Riding and
driving a motorcycle to go to places for a
while to escape problems our one of my
interests as traveling to beaches with my

loved ones.

The skill I have is playing volleyball, I consider
multi-tasking as a talent or skill by myself also

HAHA but yeah it's just practical, especially
since I'm a mother, also cleaning is my best

skill, you can never go wrong with that.

My achievements in life are being independent, and being in
list of honors since elementary is also my achievement
because why not? Pinaghihirapan ko yun hahaha.

Furthermore, being a mother is an achievement for me, I
know and I am aware that I got pregnant early and I'm not
proud of it, the thing that I'm proud of is my handsome son,

lovable and most clingy son I have.

My goal in life is to graduate, review and be a Registered
Social Worker not only to get a job to sustain my son's
needs and suklian lahat ng paghihirap ng aking mother,
my sisters, and my partner but also the biggest goal I want

is to help those vulnerable people in our society.



Once I have graduated with a Bachelor of
Science in Social work, I must review well

and take the examination for Social
Workers to pass and get the license for
Registered Social Worker. I know that it is
not an easy path but I will work hard for

it.

As a future RSW, I visualize myself helping
vulnerable sectors in our society, helping them
to realize what could be the possible solutions

to their problems, listening to their needs,
direct them to agencies that can help with their

specific need. Agencies like SWAD, Action
Center, Office of the Congressman, etc.

As a future Social worker, I will do my best to
help every people in need. I believe, that God

sent me to this path because since I was a
child there is a place in my heart to help
people and there is a reason why I have to

stop my education for 2 years.
