Subject: 20XX D/FW MSDC Supplier Mentorship Program Notification
------------------------------------------------------

Dear <Mentee candidate>

Thank you for applying to the D/FW MSDC Supplier Mentorship Program. We are pleased to
share that you have been accepted to the 20XX program and you are partnered with XX
Corporation.

<Paragraph from DFW MSDC>

A message from XX Corporation:

Why does XX Corporation support the D/FW MDDC Mentorship Program?
First, we would like to share what the program is not. This program does not represent an
opportunity to secure a contract working with XX Corporation. The focus is on sharing
experiences from a corporate perspective to help the mentee grow their business to the next
level.

It is an opportunity for XX Corporation leaders to help diverse-owned businesses learn and
grow through a formal year-long mentorship program. And we know that learning goes both
ways when it comes to mentor-mentee relationships.

Please mark your calendar to attend the 20XX D/FW MSDC Supplier Mentorship Program Kick-
off to be held at (insert Corporation, location and date. The program will start promptly at XX
a.m. and will close at XX a.m. Your attendance is required to start in the program. Important
program details and materials will be provided at the Kick-off session. You will also meet other
Mentee and Mentor participants. Additional information regarding the kick-off session will be
sent to you from your Mentor this week.

Your XX Corporation Mentor Contact information is provided below. Your mentor is your point
of contact for the duration of the Mentorship Program.

<Name, email, business phone>

We look forward to learning together!

The Election for the 2020 officers has concluded and the votes have been tallied. Per our
Nominating Committee charter, total votes received must equal 10% of membership. In the
event that less than 10% has been received, the results must be ratified by the Executive

therefore we are asking for your ratification approval of the following results:

Total Votes Received – 106
Total votes eligible for counting – 97 (removed duplicates and non-council BE/MBE votes)

Corporate Board Positions:

Please respond TODAY with your approval to ratify the results above. Assuming full
ratification, the results will be presented in tomorrow’s board meeting. Thank you to all who
have participating in this important aspect of our board’s continuity and effectiveness.
