As an official partner of the University of Chester, we deliver a
Foundation Degree of Arts (FdA) and a Bachelor of Arts degree
(BA) through innovative lectures, challenging practicals and

as your local placement, where you would join a small team of
pioneers and evangelists for worship, prayer and discipleship as

The Light Collective

Our students have the opportunity to join this growing community

of country wide evangelists, pioneers and missioners for free!
This exciting initiative is a co-operative for individuals and groups
who all share a heart for mission and evangelism and pioneering
new ways of being church. Its principal aim is to connect and
resource pioneers, sharing experiences, wisdom and learning with
each other, offering encouragement along the way.

The NET community, Chester

The NET is a brand new, fresh expression of
church based in Chester, a vibrant student
town near Liverpool and Manchester. The NET
was birthed from The Light Collective and
operates as a joint venture with local churches.
It comprises students at The Light College
and local people seeking fellowship, worship,
prayer and evangelism.
Joining The NET for your placement in
Chester means joining a small community,
a network of grassroots Christians seeking to
deepen devotion to Jesus and to let others
know about him. You will take part in weekly
discipleship, evangelism start-ups and be
supported in a small pastoral cluster. It’s
a place to grow deeper in Jesus, learn to
become a fisher of people and develop as
a discipler of others.

The Light College Fees

Information and guidance on student finance is available at
www.studentfinance.direct.gov.uk. For self-funding students,
The Light College has a small bursary fund and we will attempt
to help any students who truly need financial assistance.
