We’ve been learning recently that
getting together on a Sunday might
be an important part of life, but it’s

certainly not the whole story.
What about the other 167 hours of
the week? Those everyday moments –
getting up, going to work, taking time
out, doing the shopping, looking after
the kids, being at the gym, cooking tea,
helping a neighbour – really do matter
to God. So on Sundays we’ve been
asking people a really simple question:

Searching for the undo button?

I was sitting in my study on my computer a few days There’s something about Easter which connects with
this. God is in the business of undoing, of reversing,
ago. Typing away, listening to music, drinking coffee, of restoring. There’s something deep in the Easter story,
in the cross and resurrection, which is about a great
checking the football scores, talking on the phone, undoing of pain and sin, and an amazing restoring of
life and hope. There are some big words and mind-
writing a sermon and trying to look after the kids – blowing themes going on here: death to life, grief to joy,
despair to hope, lonely to loved. Whatever your past the
all at the same time of course. Then all of a sudden Easter message is that you can have a new present and
an amazing hope for the future.

What to do? Phil Cansdale,

“Hit the undo button” is always the best advice.
“Control-z” if you’re nifty with a keyboard, or the little
“backward” arrow if you’re using a mouse. That way,
in an instant, you can return to how things were.

Don’t you wish life had an undo button? You’ve said
something to a friend that you can’t undo? You’ve
done something in the recent past that you wish you
could undo? You’ve got into something and don’t know
how to get out and wish that you could? Wouldn’t life
be great with a human undo button when things get
nasty? If only we all had one built in.

REVS 2018 TWO
FROM 11AM ON SATURDAY 12TH MAY 2018 THE TRINITY CENTRE
EVENTS
– a family day of cars, arts activities, scalextric TO LOOK
and car-shaped cakes OINUTMFAOYR

You may remember that last year we held a classic car community day, REVS 2017.
It was a really great day, enjoyed by up to 400 people, with stunning weather and
an even more amazing collection of 55 classic cars, bikes and a camper van.
We had a large Scalextric set, driving video games, some fab art and craft,
a Pig Roast, the rocking ‘Rock Choir’ – all washed down with tea and cake.
The best bit was that you did not have to be a petrolhead to enjoy it.
This year we are doing it again, and we would love to see you there.
The Scalextric makes a return, as do the driving games, the pig roast, the
arts and crafts, and so much more. This time we are hoping to host up to
70 classic vehicles of all types. And whether or not you love old cars, we
think you will find something to enjoy.
Do you fancy showing your classic vehicle? Then please let us know.
We would really like to get as many as we can, whatever the condition –
all are welcome. We’re also doing a baking competition
with “car themed cakes” where you can let your creativity
shine. Why should Paul Hollywood have all the fun?
This year our theme is “Fearfully and Wonderfully
made.” We are celebrating things created with skill,
artistry, passion and fun - which is what many of us
can appreciate about vehicles. And it is not just old
cars - we have some ideas about how we might look
at some of the future cars too.
Most of all we would love you to be a part of
what we think will be a great day, because we
happen to believe people are the most special
creation of all. Join us and find out.

➤ If you would like to show your classic vehicle please contact

Adam on 07917 248973, or email [email protected]
