In Focus

The Dawn of a New Season

Sunrise golf events at Valley have a vibe about them that's hard to put into words, but can be felt at
the core. They signify so much more than just an event. It's the crispness of spring that hangs in the
air, the smell of fresh-cut grass, the camaraderie of good friends, and the anticipation of victory at the

first tournament of the year. Valley Sunrises signify a new season with all-new possibilities.

Robin Lucas, Pat Dartois, and Deb Poole ( former Member) place first, second, and third in the
WGA Sunrise Derby hat contest (top left); Percy Trujillo and Allie Newton join in laughter at
a WGA Sunrise skit performance (top right); Van Horsley, Mike Mullins, Dave Becker, and Jim

Keese finish up their round at the 2020 Men's Sunrise Tournament (bottom, left to right).
