4 VALLEY VOICE MARCH 2025 A Message from the President It’s an exciting time at Valley Country Club! There’s a palpable energy in the air as we prepare for the upcoming season, and for good reason. I’m thrilled to share several positive developments that reflect our Club’s growth, vibrancy, and long-term vision. Financial Health and Growth Thanks to the steadfast commitment of our Members during our ongoing litigation, we are making significant progress toward its resolution, anticipated later this year. This brings us closer to a position where we can consolidate and reduce the cost of financing our existing debt, ensuring stronger financial stability. Our focus on attracting new Members, combined with our beautifully enhanced amenities, is paving the way for long-term financial security. Additionally, the opportunity to revisit the potential sale of a parcel of land offers an exciting prospect. This would provide a significant cash infusion, far exceeding the cost of a remarkable renovation to the lower nine holes of our golf course. It’s a unique opportunity that would solidify our financial health for years to come. I am confident that we are on the right path to achieving long-term financial strength. Welcoming New Members With a full season ahead to showcase our stunning new amenities, we are eager to welcome new Members to our vibrant community. This not only supports our financial health but also enhances the unique camaraderie and “Valley feeling” we all treasure. We encourage you to share your pride in Valley Country Club with your friends and colleagues. The people you know and respect are precisely the type of Members who will continue to enrich our community. To support this effort, we are thrilled to have announced Saige DiBella, as our newly appointed Director of Membership Development and Experience. Saige is leading exciting initiatives to attract the right new Members, but nothing is more impactful than referrals from our current Members. Feel free to reach out to Saige for assistance in introducing potential new Members to our special community. Key New Additions to Our Team I am excited to introduce some exceptional new Members who have joined our Valley team, each bringing talent and passion to enhance our Club experience: •Chef Phillip Hoy: With a passion for fine dining and a deep appreciation for delivering exceptional culinary experiences, Chef Hoy is set to elevate our dining offerings. We are thrilled to welcome him aboard! A special thanks to Sous Chefs Nic and Coby and the entire culinary team for their exceptional work during this transition. •Marshall Carpenter: Marshall has already made a tremendous impact with his spontaneous sunny day clinics and his exceptional teaching style. If you’re interested in tennis or pickleball, be sure to meet Marshall and take advantage of his dynamic programs. •Saige DiBella: In her expanded role, Saige is not only focused on bringing in new Members but also enhancing the experiences of our existing community. Her enthusiasm and strategic vision are truly inspiring. •Brenton Rice: General Manager: We are excited to welcome Brenton, who brings a wealth of experience from top clubs, including his leadership at Troon’s Black Desert Golf Resort in St. George, Utah. Brenton’s engaging personality and extensive background make him an ideal leader to guide our exceptional team and elevate our member experience.

Our program uses the R.O.G.Y. curriculum, which is an acronym for the progression of balls that junior players use as they grow older, beginning with low-compression balls and later with the traditional balls that everyone is familiar with. We will use RED balls for juniors ages 4-6 and ORANGE balls for kids 10 and under. GREEN balls are for juniors 12 and under who are novice or intermediate level. Once a player has progressed through the low-compression ball line-up and is ready for advanced competition, they graduate to use the traditional yellow balls.
