The kitchen team fed approximately 6500 people, providing our traditional food
which was enjoyed by all. The business expo was also a great success, with many
businesses taking advantage of our discounted rates offered. This brings out the
best of our smaller businesses, giving them a platform to succeed in growing and
networking within our own community.
In the last 2 years, people in our Samaj have also worked in supporting those less
fortunate and helping in charitable causes, both locally and abroad, supporting with
food donation banks, as well as fundraising for the Indian Shree Shiva Primary School
project and the Okhartar water supply project.
The 2018 Navratri Festival organised by SKLPC maintains a strong interest amongst
the wider community. Our thanks to Kiran Pindoria who led as convenor for this
event. We have seen an increase in the number of E-ticket sales moving online which
has increased the efficiency in managing the event. The family workshop run by
Raksha Jina continues to be popular amongst families with young children. The live
