A study on mangrove swamp in Malaysia revealed that there were 25 times number of
some fish species in mangrove areas compared to the areas where mangroves have been
cutting down. It shows that the mangrove swamp is a productive ecosystem that could
provide numerous benefits to our economy.
Kajian mengenai paya bakau di Malaysia menunjukkan bahawa terdapat 25 kali bilangan
spesies ikan di kawasan bakau dibandingkan dengan kawasan di mana bakau telah
ditebang. Ini menunjukkan bahawa paya bakau adalah ekosistem produktif yang dapat
memberikan banyak faedah kepada ekonomi kita.
