I n the heart of every inhabited world, one constant remains across the cosmos: Whether they choose to embrace or scorn it, all living beings possess a mystical connection with nature; the ecosystem of creation which surrounds them. In the same way as the Weave seeps magic into every corner of existence, the spirits of mortal kind both current and past are innately intertwined through this allencompassing ancestral nexus. And as those who embody nature’s power, druids have the strongest capacity for tapping into this transcendent link. To the very select few who choose to immerse themselves into this ancient force, a new level of esoteric abilities can be unlocked... perhaps for the price of their own singularity... Starting at 2nd level, your innate connection to all humanoid lineages grants you access to a shared pool of instinctual knowledge. You gain proficiency in two skills of your choice between History, Medicine, Nature and Survival. If you are already proficient in one of those skills, you gain advantage on any ability checks made with it instead. If you are already proficient in both of those skills, you gain advantage on any ability checks made with one of them, and may change your choice whenever you finish a long rest. Also at 2nd level, this circle’s rites allow you to tap into the primordial link between body and spirit, calling upon the Ancestral Tree to transform your physical form in a manifestation of your soul’s will. As an action on your turn, you can expend one use of your Wild Shape feature to change your current race into another one from the following list; replacing all of your racial traits except for Ability Score Increase, Alignment and Languages. Your druid level determines the races you can change into, as shown in the Omnimorph Races table. Omnimorph Races Druid Level Races 2nd Orc, Elf, Halfling, Goblin, Kobold 4th Harengon, Half-Orc, Tabaxi, Bugbear, Lizardfolk 6th Centaur, Dragonborn, Leonin, Kenku, Grung 8th Tiefling, Aasimar, Aarakocra, Thri-kreen, Plasmoid 10th Fairy, Genasi (Any) 12th Astral Elf, Tortle, Yuan-Ti, Triton, Shadar-Kai The transformation lasts until you willingly end it as a bonus action on your turn, and can be disrupted by effects which disperse magic. You also revert to your original race automatically if you die. For each hour you stay transformed beyond the first, you gain one level of exhaustion. Starting from 6th level, you can reduce levels of exhaustion gained through this feature by finishing a short or long rest. Starting from 8th level, your transformation is no longer nullifiable by spells or effects which disperse magic. NOTE: While you are under the effects of this feature, you cannot benefit from racial feats which have your original race as a prerequisite. With your DM’s approval, however, you may temporarily swap one or more of those feats with different options that have the new race as a prerequisite; benefitting from them while you are transmogrified into that race. You may also feel free to remove, replace or add any number of races to the table; as well as mix them around in their order however you wish.
At 6th level, your esoteric arts of genealogical manipulation further grow in their scope. As a bonus action on your turn, you can expend a spell slot to gain the benefits of a racial trait belonging to one of the options listed in the Omnimorph Races table (for which you meet the druid level prerequisite). The chosen trait lasts for a number of hours equal to the expended spell slot’s level. The maximum number of temporary traits gained through this feature that you can hold at once is equal to half your Constitution modifier (rounded up). If you try to hold a new trait beyond that number, it replaces one of your currently held traits. At 10th level, you are able to share your gifts with those your heart is connected to. When using the Omnishaping feature, you may choose to grant its benefits to an allied creature of your choice instead. The target must be within range of touch, and be willing, in order for this to work. An ally affected by Omnishaping uses their Constitution modifier, instead of yours, for determining the maximum number of traits they can hold. When you reach 14th level, your connection to the primordial web of life reaches its pinnacle, granting you the absolute fluidity of form. While you are under the effects of the Transmogrify feature, you can use a bonus action on your turn to change your current race into another one from the Omnimorph Races table. When you do so, you may choose to have your Languages trait also be replaced by the new race’s equivalent. In addition, you now only gain one level of exhaustion after every 12 hours spent transformed. However, the possession of this wondrous power renders your body physically impermanent, and the expiration of your being fully definitive. Every 8 hours, roll a d4. On a roll of 1-3, your DM must choose one option from the Omnimorph Races table. The chosen option then becomes your new inherent race. When you die, your soul is completely absorbed into the Ancestral Tree, making you unable to be resurrected except by way of a Wish spell; in which case your character is reverted back to 1st level. A character that has been resurrected in this way cannot take this subclass again. With the DM’s approval, your original player race may be added to the Omnimorph Races table when you gain access to this feature. Variant Exhaustion Rules If you feel that this subclass’s exhaustion mechanics can make it difficult to have fun with, consider using the rules for exhaustion detailed in the One D&D Unearthed Arcana documents: Levels of Exhaustion. This condition is cumulative. Each time you receive it, you gain 1 level of exhaustion. You die if your exhaustion level exceeds 10. Whenever you make an ability check, attack roll or saving throw while exhausted, you must subtract your exhaustion level from the roll. You must also subtract your exhaustion level from the Spell Save DC of any spell you cast. Finishing a long rest removes 1 of your levels of exhaustion. When your exhaustion level reaches 0, you are no longer affected by the condition.
