When the mephit dies, it explodes in a burst of glass shards. Each creature within 5 ft. of it must make a DC 13 Dexterity saving throw, taking 7 (2d6) slashing damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. Magic Resistance. The mephit has advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects. Spell Reflection. Any time the mephit is targeted by a magic missile spell, a line spell, or a spell that requires a ranged attack roll, the mephit is unaffected, and the effect is reflected back at the caster as though it originated from the mephit, turning the caster into the target. Innate Spellcasting. The mephit can innately cast mirror image and simulacrum, requiring no material components. Its innate spellcasting ability is Charisma. Actions


Claws. Melee Weapon Attack: +6 to hit, reach 5 ft., one creature. Hit: 7 (1d6 + 4) slashing damage. This attack is a critical hit on an attack roll of 19 or 20. Glass Breath. The mephit exhales a 20-foot cone of sharp glass shards. Each creature in that area must make a DC 13 Dexterity saving throw, taking 9 (2d8) slashing damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.
