M Way of the Dragon Fist onks of the Way of the Dragon Fist practice a form of martial arts that imitates that of dragons. It is rumored that this discipline was given as a gift by ancient dragons. Such monks are able to focus their ki into blasts of searing energy. More flavor tbd but you get the idea. Draconic Discipline Starting when you choose this tradition at 3rd level, your martial discipline is drawn from one particular type of dragon. Select one of the following dragon options. Your choice grants you resistance to the associated damage type, which is also used to determine some of your later features. Dragon Damage Type Black Acid Blue Lightning Brass Fire Bronze Lightning Copper Acid Gold Fire Green Poison Red Fire Silver Cold White Cold Rapid Dragon Blast Also at 3rd level, you can channel your ki to emit a powerful blast of draconic energy. Immediately after you take the Attack action on your turn, you can spend 1 ki point to unleash a blast of elemental energy in a 15-foot cone, using your bonus action. Each creature in the area must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw or take damage of the type associated with your Draconic Discipline equal to 1d4 + your Wisdom modifier, or half as much on success. The value of this die changes as you gain monk levels, as shown in the Martial Arts column of the Monk table. Any objects in the area that aren't being worn or carried also take the same damage. Name TBD At 6th level, when you use your dragon blast you can further channel additional ki to alter the blast's properties. You can spend an additional ki point to apply one of the following effects to it. You may not apply multiple effects to the same dragon blast, unless the effect allows you to. Distant Blast. You double the range of your blast, increasing its size to a 30-foot cone. Empowered Blast. You increase the potency of your blast, adding an additional martial arts die to its damage roll. Altered Blast. You change the type of energy to one you're less familiar with. Select one of the following damage types: acid, cold, fire, lightning, or poison. The blast deals the selected damage type instead of the one associated with your Draconic Discipline. You can apply this option even if you've already applied one of the other options to the blast. Draconic Rush At 11th level, you can imbue yourself with a surge of energy to launch yourself into the air. When you use your Step of the Wind, you also gain a flying speed equal to your movement speed. You must finish your movement on solid ground, otherwise you fall at the end of your turn. Undetermined Capstone At 17th level, something cool happens that I haven't yet thought of.
