This titan is claimed to have fallen from the heavens and causes calamities wherever it is found. Lair and Lair Actions King Ghidorah makes its lair within the eye of storm its very presence creates. Lair Actions King Ghidorah Gargantuan Monstrosity (Titan), Chaotic Evil Armor Class 25 Natural Armor Hit Points 676 (33d20 + 330) Speed 50 ft., fly 100 ft. STR 30 (+10) DEX 10 (+0) CON 30 (+10) INT 3 (-4) WIS 13 (+1) CHA 11 (+0) Saving Throws INT +5, WIS +10, CHA +9 Skills Perception +10 Damage Resistances Bludgeoning, Piercing, and Slashing from Nonmagical Attacks that aren't Adamantine Condition Immunities Paralyzed Senses Darkvision 120 ft., Passive Perception 20 Languages -- Challenge 30 (155,000 XP) Proficiency Bonus +9 Legendary Resistance (3/Day). If King Ghidorah fails a saving throw, it can choose to succeed instead. Lightning Absorption. Whenever King Ghidorah is subjected to lightning damage, it takes no damage and instead regains a number of hit points equal to the lightning damage dealt. Magic Resistance. King Ghidorah has advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects. Multiple Heads. King Ghidorah has three heads. While it has more than one head, King Ghidorah has advantage on saving throws against being blinded, charmed, deafened, frightened, stunned, and knocked unconscious. Whenever King Ghidorah takes 100 or more damage in a single turn, one of its heads dies. If all its heads die, King Ghidorah dies. At the end of its turn, it grows back a head for each of its heads that died since its last turn. King Ghidorah regains 40 hit points for each head regrown in this way. Reactive Heads. For each head King Ghidorah has beyond one, it gets an extra reaction that can be used only for opportunity attacks. Siege Monster. King Ghidorah deals double damage to objects and structures. Wakeful. While King Ghidorah sleeps, at least one of its heads is awake. Actions Multiattack. King Ghidorah can use its Frightful Presence. It then makes five attacks: three with its bite and two with its tail. It can use its constrict instead of its bite. Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +19 to hit, reach 20 ft., one target. Hit: 32 (4d10 + 10) slashing damage plus 14 (4d6) lightning damage. Tail. Melee Weapon Attack: +19 to hit, range 25 ft., one target. Hit: 28 (4d8 + 10) piercing damage. Frightful Presence. Each creature of King Ghidorah's choice within 120 feet of it and aware of it must succeed on a DC 17 Wisdom saving throw or become frightened for 1 minute. A creature can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, with disadvantage if King Ghidorah is within line of sight, ending the effect on itself on a success. If a creature's saving throw is successful or the effect ends for it, the creature is immune to King Ghidorah's Frightful Presence for the next 24 hours. Constrict. Melee Weapon Attack: +19 to hit, range 20 ft., one target. Hit: 24 (4d6 + 10) bludgeoning damage, and the target is grappled (escape DC 20). Until this grapple ends, the target is restrained, and King Ghidorah must spend one of its bite attacks on the grappled target. Focused Lightning Breath (Recharge 5-6). King Ghidorah can only use this while it has three heads. King Ghidorah exhales lightning from all three heads focused at a single point within 120 feet and causing a 20 foot radius explosion. Each creature in the explosion must make a DC 27 Dexterity saving throw, taking 110 (20d10) lightning damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. Reactions Lightning Nova. After taking lightning damage, King Ghidorah may discharge blasts of lightning fired in random directions around it. All creatures within a 120 feet of King Ghidorah must make a DC 27 Dexterity saving throw, taking 88 (16d10) lightning damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. Legendary Actions King Ghidorah can take 5 legendary actions, choosing from the options below. Only one legendary action option can be used at a time and only at the end of another creature's turn. King Ghidorah regains spent legendary actions at the start of its turn. King Ghidorah's Lightning Breath option cannot be used if the Focused Lightning Breath action was used on its previous turn. King Ghidorah can only use Regenerate Head if one of its heads have been killed. Attack (Costs 1 Actions). King Ghidorah makes one bite or tail attack attack. Lightning Breath (Costs 2 Actions). King Ghidorah breathes lightning in a 120-foot line that is 10 feet wide. Each creature in that line must make a DC 27 Dexterity saving throw, taking 88 (16d10) lightning damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. Wing Attack (Costs 2 Actions). King Ghidorah beats its wings. Each creature within 30 feet of King Ghidorah must succeed on a DC 27 Dexterity saving throw or take 24 (4d6 + 10) bludgeoning damage and be knocked prone. King Ghidorah can then fly up to half its flying speed. Regenerate Head (Costs 3 Actions). King Ghidorah regrows one his missing heads. A struck creature must make a DC 27 Dexterity saving throw. The creature takes 10d6 lightning damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. King Ghidorah produces the effect of a DC 27 Whirlwind spell. Regional Effects The region containing King Ghidorah is enveloped in a calamitous storm, which creates one or more of the following effects: The weather conditions in a 10-mile radius centered on King Ghidorah drastically change to storm like winds with torrential rains.
