2024-2025 SEASON
WELCOME 1 Welcome back! On behalf of our entire Haugh Performing Arts Center team — from our stage management, designers and crew, to our student ushers and audience services staff, it is a pleasure to welcome you back to the HPAC! Experiencing a live performance can inspire joy, provide a needed escape, cultivate curiosity or provoke thought. The moment in which the artists on our stage connect with you, the audience, creates an intangible spark. This spark and creating unforgettable moments for our community is a point of pride and privilege for our entire team. Whether it's hosting world-class artists and large-scale touring productions, welcoming 1,400 elementary school kids to their first live performance, or collaborating with our highly skilled academic colleagues and talented students to bring a large-scale musical or riveting theatre piece to life - it's all about you, our audience! It is with great excitement that we proudly bring you our 2024/2025 Season! Our professional artists series, Haugh Presents, features an unmatched combination of live performances designed to delight, intrigue and entertain! From the Lovin’ Feelin’ Farewell Tour of Southern California’s own The Righteous Brothers, celebrating Dia de los Muertos with the lively Jarabe Mexicano, the wit and charisma of Henry Winkler, to a musical celebration of Aretha Franklin in R.E.S.P.E.C.T., and the athletic grace of American Ballet Theatre Studio, this season is filled with charm, soul and excitement. We hope that you will be intrigued to experience the stand-out performances that have become a signature of the Haugh Performing Arts Center for more than 50 years. The Haugh also serves as the performance hub for Citrus College’s awardwinning Visual and Performing Arts Division. It is a pleasure and a privilege to work alongside our distinguished faculty and talented students as they create stellar live performances. From an immersive staging of the horror, rock opera Carrie: The Musical to Anime in Concert with the Citrus College Wind Symphony, from surprise musical guests that have become a feature of The Blue Note Swing Orchestra, to the world-famous Citrus Singers in our Annual Holiday Spectacular Christmas Is..., these performances offer another opportunity to experience a memorable time out with family and friends! Collectively, we aspire to create community around the vibrancy and excitement of live performing arts. Your enthusiasm, support, and presence makes all the difference. Thank you for being an important part of our community. With gratitude, Tiina Mittler (she/her) Haugh Performing Arts Center Director
